Eating Healthy & Loving life

Today life is pretty critical for many folks when it comes to eating the right things, making the right food choices when they go food shopping. There's so many choices and decisions to make as to what type of dietary plan we are to select, and mainly because of all the misleading information that's out here on the web today, being aired on television and the likes.

In order for anyone to figure their way out of all this health mess today, first they will have to get at the core of the issue, which is information itself. People will need to do a great deal of research themselves, which much has already been done by many folks seeking alternative methods of creating health plans that can avoid from our health as a whole nation from deteriorating any further health wise, and due to consumption of unhealthy processed foods.

Processed foods are the main cause for such a food movement that has been shaking many and all of the food industries in America, and if anything good is to come out of all of this, major corporations will be needing to give up their strong hold on things a bit more, as what's been going on with the organic food industries making a sweeping win fall, by causing much of the processing plants to slow down production, and to take up much of their principles most recently.




Good Rest

Sleep is a major factor in the overall equation of human health, and the American society has many elements of sleep deficiencies, sleeping disorders, and sleep deprivation issues that people suffer from. Consuming of processed cooked foods tend to cause nausea, sleep apnea, and sluggish depressive movements, as well as irritable bowel movements, and so many other health issues, that when things are done adding up all throughout the day, you're far to tired to do anything about improving your overall health.

Many people are tired all of the time, even after getting rest due to these toxic foods tearing down their immune system over long lengths of time, making the human body venerable to various health issues.

Much of this is also due to the fact that addictions to entertainment at nighttime such as watching late night TV, computer usage (addicted to online everything), electronic gadgets, video games, partying way to much (Drugging & Alcohol consumption), and even worse conditions of habitual acts causing sleeplessness and sleeping disorders today. This all leaving many now helpless victims to crave more foods as they grow much more oxygen deprived lacking nutrients. Their usual answer to all this is to eat a great deal more of junk foods, snacks that are totally unhealthy, and leaving them lethargic (Biochemically fatigued now), and even more sluggish while laying on their beds, sofa's, coaches, or rocking chairs to gain loads of weight or to get sick without even realizing its coming up creeping upon them.

It's imperative for the human body to get a good nights sleep, at least 7-8 hours on average, and during the evening time, but even more imperative to consume the right natural organic produce (Whole foods or raw vegetables, fruits, berries, nuts, and herbs), which should be loaded with antioxidants and can be consumed as fruit juices from being blended or freshly squeezed.

This is mainly due to the undeniable fact that the human mind needs rest, the human body requires rejuvenation, and especially our human spinal chord requires rest from daily over stressing and physical strains at work, standing for long periods of time, and even from sitting to long in one place (Poor ergonomics training).

Good Exercise

Physical fitness has always been one of the primary keys in helping people to adjust their health issues, especially dealing with being out of shape, over weight, and even fighting many physical ailments or in recovery from potential injuries using physical therapy techniques, stretching exercises, and even acupuncture. Once you lean away from eating the processed food, and get more into juicing and a more organic lifestyle regiment, you will see that even your fitness will pick up and improve due to having much more energy and oxygen in your bloodstream.

People have found it a common place to conduct many forms of physical fitness, participate in sporting recreation activities, and so much more.

Generation after generation people have managed to master their physique and the mind altering full body experience. They've conjured up entire courses of study on the matters of physical motion, anatomy, and human physiology.

The medical industry definitely promotes much of this healthier liveliness today, but its up to us all to participate, to get our bodies moving, and it helps. Even the elderly benefit health wise with many programs like swimming, weight training, jogging, speed walking, and even marathon running. The issue however with the health industry is that they benefit most from our poor health issues, and so for the longest time they didn't examine or alert us to all the health risks that processed foods had truly presented us, and much of the drug industry prospered onwards, and for over 30+ years.

Today however things are beginning to change, but self awareness is the key to unlock your understanding, and grip on your own health. Don't depend on wonder drugs that many Doctors may tend to conjure up as prescriptions, since they are still heavily tied into the drug industry which are culprits in the poor health games played in America. Working on your own fitness, work out plan, and healthier eating, food shopping regiment will make all the difference.

Note: This doesn't mean that you should quit using your doctors advice, or drug medications right away. Once you learn to ween yourself off of the pharmacy drugs, you won't need the doctor anymore, or have to pay them huge drug bills neither.

One other thing to know is, eating healthy will be a must from that point onward, because more then likely it was the processed foods that got you sickly in the first place 9 times out of 10, and being so out of shape. (If your Doctor has shown interest in a smarter form of natural remedies, and organic produce as a preferred method to help you regain your health back to close to 100%, then go with their advice all the way, if not well its on you then from that point onwards.)

Tips to improve mentality

  • Relax and try to breath easy (helps to improve lung capacity, air flow, relieves tension, and increases oxygen in blood and to your brain)
  • Try meditation, prayer, or a change of environment if at all possible to help you achieve peace of mind
  • Eating processed food will bring down your immune system, and so look for organic products to consume for a more healthier diet, which helps your mind gain energy
  • Eradicate unnecessary stresses (Reduce all forms of addictions to make room for responsibilities)
  • Stay calm at all times
  • Quit smoking, doing drugs, and drinking alcohol to escape your problems in life, face them
  • Eat a healthier diet
  • Exercise regularly it helps strengthen the mind
  • Quit saying negative things, and quit thinking about the past negative experiences or present ones, and try to act appropriately to fix any or all issues as they occur
  • Seek a counselor, or join a support group to share your issues
  • Visit a good Psychiatrist who is willing to not only take your money, but truly shows concern, and wants to help you heal your mental wounds
  • Start a positive blog or website about healing your mind of bad experiences that you truly need to put to an end to in your life
  • Get real and quit hating yourself and others

Mental Health & Stability can improve if you eat healthier

The human mind is very sensitive, and is always vulnerable to outside interference by things that can and will distort or redirect its direction and course of stability in being able to sense life's interactions, in terms of moments of response to stimuli (Psyche 101 - Study article on Sigmund Freud).

Reality and the perception of it, is derived from pure and utter experiences, but if a person isn't careful enough, by ingesting the incorrect information forms (Misdirection or deception). By simply exposing their children to unnecessary traumatic moments, watching of sickened media (Violence on television/movies/video games) that's of false pretense, negative, violent in nature, and harmful to the mind in many ways. The chance for these children to acquire the wrong ideas about life, and potential for their mind to sway towards mental instability begins to increase tremendously. Besides the more obvious factors of what physical or mental abuse of any kind can do as well to their innocent youthful mind and psyche being completely ruined at a very young age.

People are also affected chemically by certain things they choose to consume, and or that they've been feed by their parents. This bio-chemical exchange can have the potential to also alter their mind state, causing a vast amount of side effects, mood swings etc..., which tends to lead to mental instability, and a good example of this is where people have introduced the use of drugs into their life, whether it be due to trying to fight disease or for experimental or abusive purposes.

Drug use is by far the number one reasoning why Americans have become psychologically scarred, dependent upon, and overly abusive. There's only one way to reverse such a reality they've fallen victim to, and that's by establishing a healthy organic food dietary plan to counter the harmful effects of chemical processed foods & usage of legal and illegal drugs.The transition into such a reality today isn't easy for most individuals, because people are so dependent on a system here in America that provides packaged foods in massive abundance, and many people have no idea how to grow their own organic vegetation neither.

The proof of such an unfair not so hidden reality of this chemical dependence starts in the science laboratory, and land onto the consumer shelves in the form of inorganic sugars, formulated unhealthy starches, additives, preservatives, chemical dyes, food colorings, waxes, genetically modified vegetation, and much more can also cause such a grave effect on the human body. This is where people may have been addicted to such inorganic drugs from birth depending on their parents, and what they've chosen to feed their children, or allow them to consume. So be aware of the food packaging labels and what you choose to consume, look for the USDA (official US Government PDF document) certified organic symbol in your grocers fresh produce isle.

The Education System and food

A good College education has become a necessity today for the average person. If and when folks realize that good education as a whole is essential in everything, life can begin to improve a bit into the more prosperous and successful happiness zones.

Education can help improve your knowledge on what is good to eat and what isn't, also by doing major research on what effects processed foods truly have on the immune system.

Re-education for 21st century adults is definitely an option to lean towards when it comes to regaining the academic knowledge required to compete in today's harsh technological economy, and online everything when it comes to potential for learning how to succeed on the social web.

Elementary schools both public and private do need to catch up to the rest of the world when it comes to feeding our children processed foods. They need to give up the dependency of these unhealthy food options, by providing a much more healthier food choice and a more organic lunch menu for our children. It's a crying shame that they've been feeding us all unhealthy foods for decades, and now its time for them to change as well.

Until such a time, you can pack your kids school lunch as in the old days, because you in the end as a parent are ultimately responsible for the fate of your children and their overall health, and besides having a good education.

Lets hope that on the ground with the brick and mortar businesses, that they can regain some leverage that's been long lost due to things moving online so much and so rapidly over the last decade. Also we surely need the economy to pick back up and all, because none of us have any control over that factor of things.

We especially have no control of that of the American dollar's overall success, which is soon to be played out as things progress further into 2013 and onwards.

Some people actually equate financial stability per say of a business or that of the individual, to mental stability for themselves, and so we will indeed see. Now at the same time by us trying to learn to live frugal, we can also find ways to cope during an economic great depression, as well as during a revamped nutritional re-education and hectic food revolution.

Big and small businesses are indeed learning today to incorporate the more healthier approach to providing safer options of organic choices, and mainly due to the food revolutions triumphant rise in marketing their food items, farmers markets popping up everywhere in the United States, and things can change for sure, if us humans continue on this path of balance, rather then obvious greed and living in pure ignorance to ones health.


Healthy Loving Relationships

Human life depends on certain parameters for things to fall into place socially, economically, and most of all emotionally. This sort of balance beam is something that can and will make or break any person on earth. This proven fact all deals with the dynamic factors of the human relationship between that of other human beings, because humans are psychosocial animals. By simply eating certain health foods together at the dinner table each day and night whenever possible, it can help mend and create family bonds, which once was so prevalent and ever so present in traditional American families & others worldwide. If we were to re-institute such a thing in our own family, this has the true potential of opening up healthy and productive discussions that can surely last a lifetime for all family members involved, and good healthy foods is definitely the answer.

It all begins in the home, and at that very moment when a child enters the birth canal, then into the safety and privacy of their families care. Each real world connection, words transferred, caring gestures, moments of intensity, physical contact, security or insecurity issues felt, sensitivity etc...plays the pressure point factors for us all, where we either grow tolerant to certain behavioral patterns or intolerant to them.

Now for our emotional state of being, its crafted in these ways as well, with a sort of dualistic nature; to either embrace our family members love and affection being rendered to us when we we're young, or to resist and potentially reject all forms of social constraints as in being rendered hatred, resentment, anger, abuse, jealousy, and many other bad treatments that kids receive on a daily basis today.

The nurturing process as a whole has the potential to shape such relationships for young children, and at the very beginning of their growing stages of life. His or her newly found family, relatives, and the likes need to all be in congruence with such a loving, caring, and giving reality to provide for their newcomer.

These physical relations are paramount to the livelihood and future molding of a youthful experience all the way onto full adulthood, and many environmental factors will also have a huge affect on how such an experience is to play itself out for each individual involved in a family unit.

All Productive Opportunities begin with Family

Besides having good mental health and nutritional health, none of that matters if there is no family life of a solid and firm secure grounding. Making sure that a new life has its greatest opportunity to succeed is the job of every parent spouse relationship, but some people are less fortunate to have such a chance to make this effort of raising children in a proper positive productive setting.

Children aren't responsible for their growth process, and so each adult plays this role for them, and this is where life needs to be stimulated most in terms of developing healthy relationships. Parents need to teach their children from a young age, what's the more nutritious ways to eat foods by adding fresh produce to their breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu's, and beginning from birth too. Feeding them animal products, and processed foods is a sure way to spoil their chance for learning the more wiser methods, and alternatives to living healthy.

Those people who suffer the most in life, mainly tend to have had the worst childhood experiences, and due to their parents having elements in their own lives that have plagued their children with poor qualities of a much lower mental capacity, and bad decision making in terms of how they apply their physical faculties, speech communications (Showing them pure ignorance rather then that of intelligent fair and delicate behavior), and also by them being placed into a poorly conditioned environment.

However, those parents who are good at the nurturing process, but unfortunate to have had bad luck in their physical living environment may have been subject to outside forces that posed a threat to their potential to perform, provide, or to do the best for their children, and or child. (Some parents have no choice because of economic constraints, and due to the fact that living well also spells being in a more conducive environment that has stores to purchase organic food items, most poor neighborhoods have none.)

Supportive parents in that of a harsh environment have a fighting chance to succeed when it come to raising children who have good family values and morals, and mainly due to them caring to at least develop a more healthy relationship with their children, plus a more positive stable home environment, even though outside their very home may be the total opposite, and in utter chaos as in many urban & tough city areas in the United States and all around the entire globe, mostly in third world underdeveloped countries, but also in the developed ones as well.



Conclusion

In order to start your life over or help others besides yourself to improve it all, it starts with health, stems to family, relationships, your mental and physical stability, and ends back with the love connections you've managed to mend and rebuild all along the way throughout life.

Eating the right foods actually leads into all of these things in life, and the start to changing it all is to lead away from consumption of processed food items, whether it be something you chose to cook, or while eating foods during outdoor activities.

Self love is primary, and then the love of others also is imperative, then and only then will all the other components to life begin to fall in place, and to even have much more true meaning, which is the manifestation of why we even live, thrive, and survive in the first place. It all evolves around the "Love Factor".

Our bodies are our temples and it all starts there. I think this is a very comprehensive article and will be helpful to many. Many people don't understand that food is the most important thing that fuels our bodies and body systems (inside and outside, physically and mentally). And exercise is essential to building and creating neuropathways so we can grow our brains and acquire knowledge. Sleep is where our bodies repair and regrow for sustainability. I can go on, but it is all stated beautifully in your hub. Great job!

@Diane Woodson, thanks for noticing what's important that I tried my hardest to point out here in my hub, I hope many others can learn from all of this, because those who need it most are generally the ones whom are in the most doubt about their health, and are simply ignoring all the good advice, and or illness warning signs they are having today.

My mom died back in 2006 due to contracting breast cancer, and so this is why I am so vigilant when it comes to that of health, and I learned much of this health awareness from my wife, thank the lord she was well informed about many years ago before we had met, and it dawned on me of what I was doing wrong with my own health over time.

This article is the end result of all the research I done during the improvement of my own health consciousness pretty much.

I have to say I totally agree with the principals you write about here, that food, sleep and mental stimulation all add to the formula or recipe of complete health and that getting away from processed food and choosing natural food gets rid of probably 80-95% of our physical problems.

I am still trying to find my way, but I have improved my diet immensely since 10 years ago. At that time I felt dull and super lethargic all the time, and I always had this horrible feeling of warm cotton behind my eyes. To be honest, I was eating burritos and ice cream almost daily! But I had no idea that there was any connection if you can believe it, till a grocery store checker I always saw took a brave step and suggested that the foods I was eating would give me a "food hangover."

Ever since then, I have become more and more aware of my food habits and broken the ice cream and burrito addiction, and the more healthy I eat, the more I forget about wanting bad food and when I do have it, I find it nearly repulsive because it is so artificially sweet.

That is another thing. If you look at the labels of any canned or plastic wrapped or boxed food, you will, 99 times out of 100, find some form of sugar included. The labels proudly mention how there is less than 2% of these items in the package, but it is enough to keep you coming back for more and to slowly destroy your body. I agree with you that it is all a part of the industry to addict us and to medicate us while they empty our pocket books.

I think the other important aspect of maintaining good health is mental. If we feel oppressed, if we are in bad relationships or we are in some way bombarded with negativity on a constant basis, it also screws up our biology. I am going through that right now and I know that if I can find a better job suited to my personality and needs, the lesser pay won't matter at all. The last time I was poor (but also secure), I was intensely happy, and it is my goal to get back to that. We all need to quit the rat race.

@Alexander Mark, its quite OK I do the same thing in many comment areas here on HP. Yes indeed its a tough thing to notice what we are all consuming today, and if any of it is healthy for us, unless we become more educated as to the actual health risks and all.

I was helped by my wife, and this hub is the end result of me making close to a years time of effort of changing my life as a whole, and learning through research to find smarter more healthier alternatives to living right.

This is an amazing hub, and I read it months ago, and it has somehow influenced me since then in eating more healthy. After watching the video about whole foods, which made soo much sense, I have been eating a lot more whole foods. It only makes perfect sense, those who don't understand,,,,well I don't know how anyone could not, maybe they just don't care or are lazy.

Thank you Blondey for the sweet comment, thanks to you I was able revise this hub, and not all of it, because I ran out of time last night, but I will completely correct any of my grammatical errors on it all.

I think many people cannot see through their taste buds for the most part, and even if they are told that they are consuming toxins, poisons disguised with good flavors and colors or not.

People are programmed for the most part to accept what they get at the convenience stores, and grocery shops.

So yup, until they begin to do the needed research themselves they will indeed remain in their deep slumber health wise, and potentially suffer further unfortunate issues of all sorts that lead to various physical, mental, and social ills today.

Thanks again for sharing as you do with me often, and it is a shame that the American system was killing us all without us knowing, but things are starting to change now for sure with farmers markets and health awareness showing up everywhere today.

I think this is a wealth of information, I loved the video on whole foods- I watched that part months ago and have made a mental note to eat more whole foods for quite awhile now; that in and of itself was greatly helpful so THANK YOU. Hubs with advice like this are priceless really. Worth quite a bit to a person like me.....Congratulations on writing a truly awesome hub that covers and links to pretty much everything one would want to know about starting over in life and living healthy which leads to happiness, peace, joy, and love! Wow! that is just the sweetest comment I have ever received and more because it shows that what i learned from my wife, has somehow extended to someone else in this world.

I admit that I couldn't come up with all this alone, my wife helped me the last 4 years to become the new and improved person I am today, and without crediting her would be senseless and unfair. She made such a change in her life and by taking the advice from a close family friend of ours many years back, and when I was just someone she knew of back then.

Its pretty amazing how the world works, and when people show that they truly care, and besides trying to run global campaigns and all to act as if they're saving the world. Sometimes all it takes is fixing oneself and reflecting back on it all. Then by writing about your findings and all such an experience can helps others someday.

This is what i have learned and I'm glad you are beginning to see the same light that was shined upon me Blondey. You're definitely headed in the right directions now for sure. Congrats on you own personal improvement, thanks for rendering me such a lovely comment.
