How to get rid of pimples and other blemishes FOREVER

You can have clear, beautiful skin

The problem with pimples, blackheads and other skin blemishes is that they keep coming back! Or they just won't go away!

For the best results, I'd use a two pronged approach: internal and external.

Tea tree oil is excellent for getting rid of acne and other blemishes topically. This can get rid of those little buggers quite effectively in a few days. (Sorry, they won't clear up overnight.)

But the problem is that pimples can show up at the worst times. Like before a date, or a party, or some other important occasion. So you'll want to make sure they NEVER show up. You can't always do that topically.

So it's important to realize that acne comes from the gut. The acne will often keep coming back until that is addressed.

Typically the problem was created by antibiotics. Even antibiotics that were taken decades earlier when you were a toddler can put zits on your face today. So it's not your fault. :-)

Please stick with me on this 'cuz if you understand the nitty gritty, you'll always know how to keep those bumps from showing up uninvited.

The antibiotics kill the friendly bacteria in our digestive tract which allows yeast to grow. When the yeast flourishes, it grows roots, poking holes in your intestinal wall.

This enables food particles to pass through partially undigested. That freaks out your immune system. Acne is merely your body's attempt to get rid of the slurry.

So here's what I would do. I'd take a combination of olive leaf extract, and caprylic acid - one of each, each day - to get the yeast under control. Those two products are great at wiping out the offending yeast. You can get both of those from any health food store.

Because the yeast has roots, it won't budge no matter how much acidophilus you take. That means the yeast must be disposed of.

I know you've been told that pimples are caused by bacteria not yeast. But if those people were so smart, they'd have told you an effective way to rid yourself of the problem. But you've still got the little buggers, so maybe they didn't have the whole picture, if you know what I mean.

Yeast and friendly bacteria compete for space in your tummy just like plants compete for space in the forest. By replenishing yourself with lots of friendly bacteria, it makes it harder for the yeast to make a comeback.

You'll want to give your gut an abundance of friendly bacteria not with a cheap acidophilus or yogurt...they won't work very well if at all... but with one that contains several different strains of friendly bacteria, such as PB-8 or Primal Defense. Again, you can get either of those from any health food store. I would follow the instructions on the bottle depending which one was using.

As an added plus, the combo or yeast elimination and friendly bacteria helps to flatten the tummy and cut down on food cravings - like cravings for greasy french fries LOL!

The holes made by the yeast also needs to be repaired. I've found the amino acid called glutamine POWDER (not capsules or tablets) to be effective. In two months or less, the holes seem to be patched up when 5 grams are taken twice a day in a glass of water. Please note it is 5 GRAMS and not 500 mgs. A reader made that mistake and was disappointed with the outcome.

A product called IntestiNew can be used in place of the glutamine. It works even better than glutamine by itself. It costs more than Glutamine but you might only need one month of it, so it might end up costing less. I would use the powdered IntestiNew and not the one that comes in capsules. I would follow the instructions on the container for dosing if it were me.

Sometimes those with acne also suffer from bloating when they eat. For that I'd take a good multi-enzyme to help the digestive tract get back on track.

All those things can be obtained at any health food store. Good luck!

The best to you and to your skin.

Hi Ms D,

Vitamin C is known to be a great detoxifier and can be an energizer. I would take more than 1,000 mg. but that is just me. I take anywhere from 2,000 mgs to 20,000 mgs a day just to see what it can do.

It got extensive lab work results from my personal physician today. She said I should use my results as a testimonial!

The best to you.

Hi pterodactylus,

Thank you for your detailed reply!

Before we get started, Standard Process makes some truly superb products. If my friend had recovered from similar types of issues as yours, I'd give those particular products a good test.

I don't have the answers for every person. So it could be that your friend's experience is a blessing for you.

Heavy metals in the teeth most certainly do get into our system each time we eat or the surface is rubbed. There are YouTube videos that show mercury vapors coming off of mercury fillings.

Anyone's opinion to the contrary is just that - an opinion tha the videos dispel.

Mercury causes leaky gut. So I'd go to the store and get some cilantro and make a tincture out of it. There are lots of YouTube videos that'll show you how simple it is to make a tincture.

Then I'd start with a teaspoon a day and gradually work my way up to a tablespoon based on how my health responded to the cilantro.

Fulvia also removes metals including mercury. Fulvia really is a must for anyone whose food isn't grown in composted fields. (Full disclosure: I am an associate with Joy To Live, the makers of Fulvia.)

I'd also get some digestive enzymes to take with my meals that contained lipase or ox bile, preferably both, to help me digest my fats.

You might also Google "gall bladder cleanse" to see if that's right for you. These days, young people like yourself are getting gallstones. They block the release of bile. Bile helps us to absorb dietary fats.

It takes only one round of antibiotics to result in leaky gut. Once it's there, it stays there until actions are taken to fix it.

Meanwhile, I'd use a tea tree oil wash on my face to help minimize the appearance of any acne I had.

Leaky gut can be a source of anxiety because it's harder to feel sure of ourselves and have confidence in ourselves when we are continually having to deal with gut symptoms. So I'd give my protocol another month to see if I didn't feel better while doing what I could to remove the mercury from dental work and from vaccines.

Taking 5-HTP can help to alleviate anxiety and depression. It does wonders for me, at least.

Mercury can be a little bugger. It likes to hide out and cling. So we can feel better for a while and then when some stress hits us, the mercury starts causing symptoms again. So be patient and don't be surprised if you fell good for months or years and then find yourself struggling with similar issues.

With this knowledge you'll be armed to jump on it quickly and dispense with the mercury should that happen.

Keep me posted on your progress.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

Sorry for being so uninformative. I will do my best.

My skin problem started during puberty, as for most people, and continues up till now. I am 21, soon 22.

I believe that my digestion might be impaired, specifically, fat absorption might be compromised because I tend to get bad yellow diarrhea if I eat nothing but pure fats like walnuts. If I eat something else during the day and then eat just walnuts, I do not experience anything wrong except that yellowish stool which this time is not diarrhea like, but is kind of okay, but definitely now brown as it is when I do not consume excessive amounts of fats.

Another issue is the trouble of sleeping. I tend to wake up every night between 1-3 am and it is hard for me to get back to sleep, I am kind of half-asleep during that time and it seems like my mind is rushing through a lot of thoughts. Also, I have bad anxiety that I try to control by meditating etc.

The food I eat is pretty good: organic meat and vegetables, potatoes only for starches, walnuts, eggs, occasional fruits like oranges, brie cheese, avocados and since I try to pack on some weight(but I struggle, might be due to malabsorption) whey protein.

I cannot remember the last time I was on medications. Last time I was ill was this June but I destroyed the illness in several hours using oregano oil. In the past, I did consume antibiotics but the period of intake was relatively short each time. I did have all vaccinations required.

I also vaguely remember that when I was little boy, I was in the hospital due to some weird illness and remember that I had problems with digestion as well because I remember my stool had undigested bananas in it. Once again, digestion thing came up. Also, at school we usually ate something like that: meat with mashed potatoes, some vegetables, soups, pancakes and I remember that after eating whole portion I had some bloating even when I was 13 or 14.

I do have amalgam fillings in my teeth and recently went for 5th in a row visit when our dentist did not find any holes in teeth(thanks God!). I asked her about mercury and she said that in her experience mercury-based fillings are okay. She was breathing that stuff for decades and is still okay as she said. I, however, still feel that mercury in teeth(or vaccines) is a bad idea.

I was on your protocol for a month and consumed exact amounts you specified without much success. My skin still sucks.

However, acne is not the main problem. As mentioned, I sleep badly for years already and been training with around 2.8k calories diet for 6 months without packing on much weight. I gained maybe 2-3 kg. I felt stronger though. I weigh 65kg and am 176 cm tall so I'd need to pack on around 10 more kilos to look okay and not like a twig.

I found some videos on youtube where people try various things: parasite, liver, kidney, colon cleanses and nothing works for them. I figured that maybe people become too health obsessed so they forget to live and socialize. I have communication problems due to my personality as well as anxiety and all those problems that plague me.

Tests that were done: fasting glucose, anemia, thyroid. All were normal. Folic acid is okay as well.

Family history: grandmother had diabetes, grandfather has cancer and other illnesses but he is over 85 already. Mother is overweight as well as father. Both had acne during adolescence and some uni years. Both were thin but packed on weight after their 30s. Both have bad digestion. My brother has acne as well.

Personally, I feel the need to work on forming relationships with people, sit less(I am software engineer) and somehow fix my sleep. Digestion however, seems to be the ISSUE because I feel sluggish after even organic meals I cook myself.

Finally, I have a friend who had worse digestion problems than me. She was put on Zypan and Livton by Standard Process and her body healed after 3-4 months of healthy eating(same stuff I eat) and those supplements. But she went to ND to find the cause and she was lucky to stumble upon right thing. She had no acne problems despite eating crappy food and despite the fact the her gallbladder was completely shut down. The food and supplements fixed her. Just to inform you. I myself wasted a lot of money on supplements that did not fix anything - sleep, acne, digestion, you name it. So I am trying to rule things out before buying anything else.

Thank you for the service and I am interested in response.

So today i 1st took my PB8 (but i did on empty stomach) , i think i screwed up there , got terrible ,assuming gas pressure right where ribs start, very uncomfortable . Tomorrow going try it after i take a bite of something . I took the caprylic acid and olive leaf a little later so Im pretty sure it was the Pb8 that cause the uncomfortable feeling ..

Hi Kelly

So I've been doing what you said for about a month and I am shocked at the results! My skin is actually the clearest its ever been! I'm still using tretinoin .025% cream on and off but I'm eventually gonna stop. I use ambi fade cream for my scars and it actually works. The question I have is how long should I stay on the supplements and should I increase the dosage (you know mg wise), or increase how many I take a day (containers say: pb8=2 per day, caprylic acid= 2or3 two times a day, olive leaf 1 two times a day, Intestine new 2 to4 a day. I weigh 113lb / 5'0. Thanks for your help!!!!!

Hi Bill1985,

Some of the Nature's Way Aloes taste pretty good. I don't recall the pricing. They might cost in the same ballpark as George's ounce for ounce.

George's aloe doesn't require refrigeration which is good if you want to keep the bottle by your bed in case you have an episode in the middle of the night. The others might work as well or better. I've stuck with George's.

The best to you.

Got the Georges aloe today , def does not have any taste, i took 2 ounce this morning and 2 this evening , excited to see if it helps . It is expensive , wonder if cheaper ones work as well , allthough sounds like the taste wouldn't be good. I got my caprylic acid , waiting on the rest of the stuff to get here today .

Hi ".",

The dosage does matter. If you take 1/10th the recommended dose, as you can see, it's not likely to produce the desired results.

I'm sorry you failed by not following the directions which read as follows with an underline under the amount to be taken etc: "I've found the amino acid called glutamine to be effective. In two months or less, the holes seem to be patched up when 5 grams are taken twice a day in a glass of water."

It says "in" a glass of water. And the word grams is spelled out rather than saying "g's or "mgs." I will change the directions so that no one else makes the same mistake.

If you feel a need to blame me, that's okay. We all make mistakes. I can understand your disappointment.

The best to you.

Only I am to blame for failing this course, miserably. I, like 'Ms D' would have if she did not double check her tablets, only took 1000mg a day of glutamine. You said 5g in the article and almost all the glutamine products come in the form of a 500mg tablet. I mistakenly assumed that this would be the right product/amount... after all, why would you not completely write off the tablets option as it is ludicrous that anyone would ever take 20 a day.

I'm shocked this wasn't made clear. I wanted to end the Summer with clear skin and instead I flushed about £70 down the drain, my confidence has been further knocked after thinking something would finally work after years.

I even bought all these products twice which makes it even more laughable.

I'm now back on Benzoyl Peroxide as it seemingly does SOMETHING to treat acne around my jaw, chin, lips and cheeks at a rate that is lower than - spend:£70 results:Virtually nothing

Hi Bill1985,

I like George's Aloe. It tastes like water and doesn't need refrigeration after opening because it is fractionally distilled. I use it in my pain spray, so maybe that's why I use that brand. If I recall correctly, Nature's Way makes good aloe products.

The best to you.

Thanks for replying back, what brand , brands aloe to you recommend ? I see forever living makes an aloe but id like to hear your recommendation on this. Im going try ordering the other stuff I need to start cleaning my body of the yeast overgrowth today. Thanks again.

Hi Bill1985 ,

Yes, you have listed the ingredients correctly. I prefer IntestiNew over glutamine for even faster results, but either one is good.

Your own comments reveal the most likely cause of the acne. Antibiotics foster yeast overgrowth. The medications don't help matters.

The yeast and prescription drugs can promote so much disease.

By the way, I find that excellent quality aloe vera liquids are miracle workers for acid reflux. I'd use them to heal previous damage to the esophagus and to stop an attack if it were me. For repair, I'd use the aloe twice a day, swishing it in my mouth each time

Sometimes it can take several gulps of aloe to quell the symptoms when an attack occurs, but in a minute to five minutes, life is good once again. :-)

The KEY is to swish the aloe around in the mouth until it has warmed up and then swallow it a little bit at a time.

The best to you.

Hello im 28 have always had a little trouble with acne but last year I had 2 surgeries and for both I was on antibiotics for approx 3 days , well around march this year I started breaking out like a teenager on my chin , ( some deep acne that really hurts and takes forever to go away). I thought maybe it was the Gabapentin im taking for my Nerve pain well , after reading this , Ive always had stomach prob and bloating , acid reflux bad , I was taking omeprazole 40mg daily plus rantidine 150 mg as needed and lately ive been able to get away without the omeprazole . I wonder if its due to Yeast ? I think I may order all the stuff you suggest and try it. Olive Leaf , caprylic acid , PB8, Glutamine , I have them all listed correct?

Cassaundra 2 years ago

Kelly,

Thank you so much. I went to speak with my doctor and she told me about isotretinoin. It sounded like a miracle until I realized it was accutane and began reading the side effects. Psychosis, depression?! And even if I'm not pregnant now, to risk that drug damaging the child i have later in life all because I wanted clear skin?! No way, I'm going to start what you suggest tomorrow (payday). Do you know how long it usually takes to see results? Did you have acne? Did you have to do this? I will be back to tell you how much it has helped because I know it will :)

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 2 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi Cassaundra,

This will be quick. I'll come back later today with more.

I'd take one of the caprylic acids and one olive leaf extract a day. I'd look around for different products and buy the one with the lowest dosage of each for now if it were me. The doses can always be increased later.

I'd start with one PB-8 a day for a week and see if it produced a very large bowel movement during that week. If not, I'd increase to two. Otherwise, I'd stay at one per day.

With IntestiNew, I'd use maybe a little less than a full scoop. If using glutamine (l-glutamine), I'd take 3,500 mgs a day.

The best to you.

Hi Kelly,

I've delt with mild acne most of my life but last year a doctor prescribed vitamin b for me & my skin had a horrible reaction. Now my acne has gotten very bad and I have scars all over my cheeks :'( I'm so upset but your post gives me hope. I'm about to see my dermatologist in 30 min and will tell her my plan to do what you suggested. I'm hoping she will give my something to get rid of the scars I have, if she does I'll post the name so maybe it will help someone else too. My question is how much if each supplement do you suggest I take? I weigh 112 lb. Really hope to hear from you soon...

Hi amythegreen,

The cautions on supplement labels about pregnant women and nursing mothers is written by lawyers due to our "sue happy" society.

Meanwhile, the CDC keeps records of deaths from food supplements. In most years, the number of deaths from supplementation is zero.

Meanwhile when people follow my recipe, they see great things happening. Is it likely that the mother would improve but the milk from the mother would hurt a baby? That doesn't make sense. The mother's milk is going to be healthier when the mother is healthier.

If I had a three-year-old child, I'd get a product called Threelac. The company has different products for different aged children. It's much easier for a 3-year old to take than my recipe.

The best to you.

I'm pretty certain that I have an overgrowth of yeast and I have for years. I not only have dealt with plenty of acne outbreaks since puberty but I also have seborrheatic dermatitis which feeds off yeast. My question is two fold: first are these items safe to injest while breastfeeding? I have a 9 month old and do not plan to wean before 18 months hopefully longer. Secondly is there something can do for a 3 year old that is suffering from the same scalp condition?

Thanks for you assistance.

Ms D 2 years ago

i am also adding 1000mg vitamin C . is this ok?

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 2 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi MS D,

You're welcome.

My recipe for glutamine is 5,000 mgs twice a day rather than 500 mgs twice a day. That's why I recommend using powdered glutamine (or 1 scoop powdered IntestiNew once or twice a day) rather than capsules. The added ingredients from 10 capsules twice a day can be a bit much.

I suppose 1,000 mgs once or twice a day might work. It would just take a long, long time. Even then there's no guarantee it would work and it would mean having to take the olive leaf extract and caprylic acid for a long time, too.

Otherwise you are following the program as suggested.

The best to you.

I started taking 1 olive leaf extract each day, 1 pb8 twice a day, two 500mg glutamine once a day, and one caprylic acid once a day.. while also eating healthy and drinking plenty of water. Does this sound right? Or is that starting to quickly.. I'm a 20 year old female, 110 lbs.

Thanks for answering my original posting. :)

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 2 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi Ms. D,

Yes, those are the components of the recipe. They are all taken starting on the first day unless one wants to start slowly to avoid a cleansing reaction.

In that case, I'd start with the PB-8 for a few days, then add the caprylic acid for a few days, then add the IntestiNew or glutamine, before adding the olive leaf extract.

BTW, I'am an author rather than a doctor. If I'd gone to medical school, I probably wouldn't have been able to come up with this recipe.

The best to you.

Hi Ed,

Yes, the glutamine or IntestiNew is an essential part of the program because until the leaky gut is healed and sealed, partially digested food is going to pass through the intestinal lining.

Some of the resulting muck is going to clog the skin for sure. So yeah, it's an ASAP situation.

Generally two months is about all it takes, but it varies from person to person. So for one person it could be a month and for another 4 months.

If heavy metals are involved, say from dental fillings or other sources of exposure, then there could be repeated outbreaks after one thinks they are all clear.

It's a characteristic of mercury to hide out for a while until a super stressful situation pushes it back out again, such as an illness or even a big ol' major bummer of an emotional nature. Mercury also contributes to leaky gut.

But I would assume mercury wasn't a problem unless the recurrences indicated otherwise.

An extremely healthy thing to do would be to look up kombucha online including how to make it. It is SUPER cheap to make, tastes like the best champagne when made correctly, and it extraordinarily healthy.

It might cost $5 -7 dollars to make enough to last a month if you make it weekly, once you get a 'scoby' which is often called a mushroom although it isn't really a mushroom.

It is simply delicious - a carbonated beverage made from black tea bags and is pretty easy to make. Premade kombucha costs over $4 a bottle and sells like hotcakes because people love it so much. It's good for the skin too when drunk on a regular basis.

Secondly, drink purified water.

You probably know the rest. Eat more salad and less (no) fried foods. Avoid foods with corn syrup. You'll be surprised how many foods have that in it.

Ed 2 years ago

Hey Kelly,

I'm 18 and I've had acne for the past few years... I'm truly depressed with it, too.

I have 'good weeks' and 'bad weeks' and having a bad week involving social events knocks my confidence...

I've been using the caprylic acid, pb-8 and olive leaf extract for 3 weeks ~ now. I accidentally didn't purchase the glutamine. Do I need to invest and get it into my daily routine ASAP?

Current results: my backne has cleared virtually completely from 4/5 large spots always being present. For my face, it did seem better at the start of the week but these last few days have been pretty shocking with 5 small spots around my mouth and 7/8 around my chin and lower lip.

This leads to my main question: how long will the process take? Also, how long should I continue the process if nothing occurs? (I hope it something does!!)

One last thing, do you have any healthy dietry advice for a poor uni student? :)

Thank you

I am going to the store tomorrow with the list of supps you provided.... I knew yeast was no good for me ...but it was so hard to resist....not anymore though, its over between us yeast!!

Hi Jan (Jan Jailani ),

Good for you ordering your supplies. It's great to hear.

I'm not familiar with the drug you are referring to so I don't know if there is any problem from quitting cold turkey. It is a risky drug with some potentially nasty effects, so I would get off of it as quickly as I could if it were me.

The olive leaf and caprylic acid are also something that are generally only needed for a couple months. Intestinew might only be needed for one month - at least that was my experience.

Food supplements don't interfere with each other or only in minor ways, so I wouldn't worry about combining my recipe with the other things you mentioned. In general, they work together in a positive way synergistically.

I'd get some tea tree oil body wash and use that to help with any outbreak I had. It's antimicrobial and also helps to speed up getting rid of acne. I might follow up with vitamin E to help prevent scarring. Don't get dl-tocopherol. The "l" stands for lousy.

It's possible that there could be an outbreak early on with my recipe. That's just the crud leaving the body which is what you want.

There is a brand new product called Renu 28 that is simply astounding. I'm a distributor if you want to get it.

Here are a couple examples of what it can do for wrinkles. It's just as good for acne, etc.

hi kelley, i just discovered your wonderful site & it’s so different from all the theories & articles I read about acne. short intro, i'm 41 with an oily skin type. used to have a clear skin till the age of 25. throughout 16yrs, i have suffered 3times acne attacked but i recovered. this latest attack came about 5 months ago & i can see my skin is getting from bad to worse with new cystic acne popping out daily.

i have placed an order for all the supplements you recommended. can’t wait for it to arrive. i’m crossing my fingers, hands & legs that it will work. LOL… i've few questions to ask though.

currently i’m on acnotin 20mg daily for the past 2mths. would you recommend that i stop it immediately or finish the course of medicine, which still have about 3 weeks to complete? can i take together with the supplements you recommended?

i’m taking other supplements too. can it be taken together with the supplements you recommended or should I stop taking these too?

Day

1. Collagen Stem Cell

2. 1x Vit C 1000mg

3. 2x Krill Oil alternate days with 1x Omega 3 1000mg

Night

1. 1x Primrose Oil 1000mg

2. Collagen Sheep Placenta

you also recommending taking PB-8 for life & intestinew about 2mths. there is no mentioning about the duration for taking olive leaf extract & caprylic acid. please highlight?

thanks a zillion ☺

Hi Tumi,

I don't know what is available in Nigeria. It's tough to order things that come from outside the country of Nigeria.

Maybe aloe vera? If so, I'd drink a lot of it and put it on my face.

You might be able to find an herbalist in Nigeria who would be familiar with the herbs available in Nigeria.

The best to you.

Hi Mellisa,

I haven't looked into colostrum in a long time, so it would be better if you picked one on your own.

You might look at colostrum from New Zealand. If memory serves, they have good colostrum.

The Doctor Who Cures Cancer is available as a Kindle. The book does focus mostly on cancer although Dr. Revici had cures for AIDS, drug and alcohol addiction, migraines and much more.

The best to you.

Hi Mark,

When something is essential to good health, such as probiotics are, I would be reluctant to say something else is more important than that which is essential.

Prebiotics and probiotocs are essential to good health. Dr. Mercola says that one serving of a fermented food has as much probiotics in them as an entire bottle of probiotics. Maybe that's because the naturally fermented foods contain plenty of prebiotics. My guess would be that they do.

My program is designed to create good digestive health. Once I was well - or even before - it would be good to follow a healthy organic diet which includes avoiding GMO foods.

But life being what it is, 99% of us are going to be exposed to GMO foods or foods with hormones and/or antibiotics. This might require returning to my program from time to time to fix the problem once again.

Also avoid mercury fillings from the dentist. The mercury leeches into the digestive tract, especially if we drink something acidic.

The best to you.

Hey sir kelley, is pre biotics better than pro biotics? Do you have any recipe for gut health maintenance, thanks sir

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 2 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi Melissa,

Probiotics are often recommended as the first line of treatment for SIBO (Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.)

If the condition is caused by an anatomical crinkle in the intestines or from surgery or a diverticuli, it's a situation that isn't necessarily cured but managed.

Everyone has parasites probably all the time. They are onl;y a problem when there is a condition that allows the parasites to do damage. Leaky gut is the prime supporter of parasites being a problem.

There are lots of products to deal with parasites. Two I like is one made my ReNew Life and another made by Century Systems which is the company that also makes 7 Wonders Miracle Oil. As an aside, Century Systems makes only fabulous products, with Miracle 2000 being one of them. No, I don't get a commission for promoting them, nor am I on their payroll or own stock. :-)

also i have a request, please suggest how to get rid of parasites? I have heard itching and irritation around bottom with gas and bloating indicates parasites. Do let your readers know about safe parasite cleanse.

i feel fortunate to have got to know such valuable information through you which most of the money making doctors never tell

Hi Lady,

I wouldn't put poison on my face if it were me.

Ask yourself, why psychologically would a doctor want to give you a drug when you are seeing "REAL" improvements on your skin from following my recipe?

Answer: the dermatologist is afraid the natural treatment will invalidate what he or she does for a living. Who needs a dermatologist when patients can treat themselves?

Poison will cause illness sooner or later. Sometimes that illness is cancer. So even if someone's skin clears up a little faster what have they gained?

Accutane contains a synthetic retinoid. Far better would be to get a NATURAL retinoic acid cream, such as is sold at Vitamin World or elsewhere. The synthetic can actually burn the skin. Obviously, that's not a good thing.

Time and again people report back that when they follow my recipe, their skin glows. The recipe also makes them feel healthier and want to eat healthier foods.

It can help with weight loss, too.

Does Accutane do any of those things?

The best to you.

Dear Mr. Eidem,

I'm currently faced with a difficult decision that I’m hoping you would assist me with.

My dermatologist wants to put me on Accutane treatment, I’m concerned about the side effects but im also desperate to get rid of this acne once and for all.

What is important though is that i am seeing real improvement on my skin from following your treatment and I want to continue with it and give it a chance.

In your opinion is it advisable for one to try both treatments concurrently? Please help.

Always grateful,

Hi Mellisa,

Rosacea is only incurable if you go to a doctor. LOL!

It usually starts out as an intermittent condition and then progresses to permanent. Since you say it's intermittent, that means there is no scarring.

You don't need to wait two months to check back in.

Our foods today put us under constant attack - unless we eat organic food only - because of things like GMO's, hormones and antibiotics in our foods. So yes, my recipe can heal a person. But it wouldn't be surprising if it needed to be done again down the road.

Obviously, the better you eat, the longer that would be between now and the next time.

It's great to hear you are so disciplined. That pays off.

The best to you.

Ohh :-( i am disheartened to know if this could be rosacea, but i won't give up.

My redness is not throughout the day.i have observed whenever i eat my meals, around that time i start developing redness which perhaps proves my gut is problematic

i will do this recipe religiously. After exact 2 months,i will update you how it worked

sir,if my acne and redness is due to intestinal permeability and i take these supplements, will my gut heal permanently once and for all? I make sure i never eat junk, and eat all healthy food

eagerly waiting to update u.

Hi Mellisa,

It's so good to hear from you!

Your life is about to improve in so many ways. You just wait!

BTW, I'm an author rather than a doctor. This recipe I've put together is based on a report a doctor wrote. He described the physiology of the process which led me to choose the different products.

The redness sounds like it could be rosacea. If I had rosacea, I'd get some tea tree oil body wash and use it once or twice a day on the effected areas.

Rosacea is probably an autoimmune disease. My recipe is designed to reverse autoimmune diseases.

Just so you know, you might find you have a big out break as the body releases the toxins underneath. I'd stay on top of it with the tea tree oil body wash.

Also avoid alcohol or take massive doses of vitamin C. It could be 10 grams a day. I prefer liposmal vitamin C such as is sold by Swanson's called Pureway C.

People who have followed my recipe, report that it gives them glowing skin. So be ready for that. :-)

Then tell everyone how you did it by emailing them an ink to this page.

Please keep me posted on how you are doing reporting any little progress or set backs.

The best to you.

hello doctor,

i have ordered all these suplements..olive leaf extract, caprylic acid,pb 8,intestinew and zymessence..i am really hoping for positive results.. i am suffering a lot. i used to get acne because of which i saw a dermatologist..he prescribed very dangerous medicines and antibiotics i am sure..

even after 3 years,i am battling acne. another problem that has come up is a lot of redness on my cheeks which was never before.i was so white..this redness makes me feel so awkward, also it affects my professional life.

i am sure ders some problem in my stomach( gut) and intestines, because i don't get regular bowel movements, i have gas problem.

will this help in acne and the redness i get at intervals.?.. my face becomes red 2 to 3 times in a day,,i am not sure what's the reason behind that,it is very embarrassing :(

i want to get healthy, look healthy, help my family, help society too if i can..life is meaningful but because of all these problems ,my life has come to a hault. :(..ur suggestion is very valuable to me .

Hi Lady,

Thank you for sharing your positive results! Neither me nor the readers who suffer from various skin issues get tired of being inspired by your success.

When a visitor reads about your success, they also are motivated to do the same, so you are widening the ripples on the lake just like a pebble would do. IOW, you're making someone else happy!

If I had scarring, I'd start taking Zymessence for a couple months to see if it didn't help, taking one or two capsules three times a day with 8 ounces of water on an empty stomach.

There might well be other products that also help with this, but I'm not familiar with those sorts of products simply because I haven't looked into it.

The best to you.

Hello Kelley,

I have been taking the “Kelley Eidem concoction” for almost 3 weeks now and i see a lot of improvement on my skin acne. I still have a bit here and there but they are not as big as they were 2 weeks ago.

My worry though is that i seem to have a lot of dark scarring on my face, will the concoction eventually clear the scars or would i have to look for something to apply on the scars?

Thanks again for your advice and i am very optimistic that after 2 months of following your recommendation i will have renewed skin and a new lease on life (can’t wait to be one of those women with beautiful skin :) )

adrienxoxo 2 years ago

I have been using your plan for about 5 months now. I have went through 2 jars of IntestiNew. I also take Biotin, omega 3,6,9 and omega 7. I drink 32oz of water a day 4 cups of milk ( milk for protein after my weight training). I eat lots of fruits and veggies and I stay away from boxed and canned food. I wash my face twice a day using Raw African black soap or Rhassoul clay. I moisturize using Rosehip seed oil( only when I don't have breakouts) squalene oil and shea butter. I moisturize my body using oilve oil. Even after all of this my face has cleared up a whole lot. But my back, chest and knees are having breakouts like crazy. What am I doing wrong?

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 2 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi Adrien,

I'm sorry to tell you it's probably the milk unless you are drinking raw milk. Nor would I drink soy milk. Very bad.

Pasteurized milk is a disaster. Very mucus forming. Most cows are fed HORMONES as well as well as being fed a GMO diet.

Plus you need to drink more water. 32 ounces isn't enough. I'd shoot for 64 ounces.

The best to you.

I drink milk after my workouts for the protein because I'm weight training. I also take Biotin, omega 3,6,9 and omega 7. I cleanse my skin with mild soap or rhassoul clay twice a day. I moisturize with Rosehip seed oil, squalene oil and shea butter. I eat a lot of fruit and veggies and I stay away from boxed and canned foods. What am I still doing wrong? Also is olive oil a great skin moisturizer for the body?

Hi Fred,

It usually takes more than a couple weeks to get rid of all the cnadiasis and to heal the intestines, so I would continue with the program for a month or two.

Experiencing a "die off" doesn't happen to everyone.

I don't know whether there are any tests to tell you whether your yeast is under control or not. But I would look for a change in my appetite where I started to like salads and had no attraction towards food or drinks with sugar in them.

I'd still continue for a month or two even if my dietary desires/changes happened sooner if it were me.

The best to you.

I had acne since high school, maybe 8 years ago. Since i started the recipe the oiliness of my skin lessened and it made my face glow, and my pimples are clearing up, but im curious if my candida cleanse is a success cos i didn't have any die off symptom, should i experience die off to confirm that i am candia free?

Kelley Eidem profile image

Kelley Eidem 2 years ago from Panama City, FL Author

Hi Fred,

Isn't that great, Fred! How long had you been dealing with acne or whatever you were dealing with?

Readers of this page would love to know more details about your case, so you'd be helping them immensely.

Meanwhile, I'd try drinking two quarts of water or more each day. Also, I'd make sure I drank extra water when I took the glutamine.

Plus, there would be no harm to me if I reduced the amount of the glutamine. I'd cut in by half (2.5 gms) to see if that solved the problem.

Then depending on my response, I'd either halve it again (1.25 grams) or increase it to 3.75. And then continue to fine tune it. The goal here would be to find the optimal amount for me.

The best to you.

Hi sir kelley, my skin got so much better with your recipe, but after a few days i started to be constipated, i found out recently when i googled glutamine that to much of it causes constipation, is it true? Cos when i tried to stop gluta my constipation got better but a few 2-3 pimples started to come out. Should i lessen my intake or is there better way to take it with hot water or something? And also do i need to experience die off symptoms to know if my stomach is free from candida? Thanks sir, your recipe is truly amazing, got constipation issues since i was a kid

Hi Brandi,

Glad you like it, Brandi. Fell free to use the share buttons just to the right.

The best way to tell if evening primrose oil is good for a person would be to monitor their urine pH 4 times a day to see what the effecti son their pH balance.

The balance point is 6.2 pH. Healthy people have two readings below and two above 6.2 each day. I'd watch to see if the oil took me towards balance or away from balance.

Hi Lori,

Improving our diet is THE key to keeping our skin clear, but I have great news for you. What happens when you follow the recipe is that at some point your desires for food will automatically shift in a dramatic fashion.

You'll start craving healthy food and losing any desire for junk food. In my experience it happens like a flash. It might be a month or two from now or a week from now. There's no predicting when it happens.

If you want to make your own efforts to eat healthy by all means go for it. It will accelerate your results.

If in the future the cravings start to come back, it is a signal to do this program again. You'll be catching the problem early, so your results will be even quicker.

Our food today is laced with tiny bits of antibiotics, so we are exposed to that drug even when we stay away from the doctor. This is yet another reason to eat organic food. The constant exposure can result in recurrences, but like I said, you're getting control of it instead of it controlling you.

Animals in the forest have a natural ability to choose the proper foods for themselves. We've lost that ability due to the exposure to drugs. Then it gets compounded by the corn syrup, brominated chemicals, artificial ingredients, and so on.

The PB-8 helps with constipation for most people in a dramatic fashion. If I had a really difficult problem, cape aloe capsules can be excellent for short term use. Botanic Choice offers cape aloe although the front label refers to it as aloe vera.

The best to you.

Hi Shruti,

The ingredients are foods. As such they won't hurt anyone.

We often think vaginal yeast infection when we think of yeast infections. But it is only one of many symptoms. Not all yeast infections have vaginal yeast infections as a symptom.

Yeast infections cause over 100 different diseases. Vaginal infections are only one of them.

For sure, the drugs you were given are likely to mean it will take longer for a person to completely get better because a person would need to detoxify from those drugs as well.

The drugs get rid of bacterial infections. That PROMOTES yeast growth! That's why the drugs only work a little while only to see the acne problem come back over and over again, perhaps even worse than before.

The best to you.

Hi Shruti,

The United States FDA, FTC, and state medical boards won't allow me to say the obvious.

But if I were in your shoes, I'd get started as soon as I could as well as a bottle of tea tree oil body wash. The tea tree oil helps to clear up the visual appearance of acne.

When a person is dealing with a lot of acne, it's likely that they will see a temporary outbreak as the body releases the junk out through the skin. The tea tree oil helps to minimize the problem and helps to clear it up quickly.

As we release and eliminate the toxins from our body, the skin can get clearer and clearer - even radiant the way it is supposed to be.

After two years of feeling so low and depressed there is liable to be some hurt feelings, disappointments and other emotional issues that get pushed down. All that leads to feeling a lack of self confidence, doesn't it?

You don't have to be scarred by lingering self confidence issues or past hurt feelings. I'd get a copy of "The Book of Afformations." It will give you a simple mind trick that can bring back self confidence quickly.

It is the most remarkable book I've ever read. You will feel wonderful if you get that book and read it. I read it to myself out loud which made it even more powerful.

The best to you.

Hi Fred,

It depends. If I had one or two blemishs and it wasn't next to my eye, I'd probably dab one drop of concentrated tea tree oil on it.

But for a breakout of multiple blemishes, the more diluted body wash would be better (for me LOL.)

When it comes to aromatherapy essential oils, more isn't better. They can make a person feel bad when too much is used due to their potency.

It's like chocolate. A tiny amount of high quality organic chocolate can be great. But a large amount is even greater. Oops. I meant not good for you [only good for me. ;-)] I'll have to choose a better example next time.

The best to you.

Hi Lady,

You're welcome.

I'd start with one each of the olive leaf and caprylic acid unless the calprylic acid directions advise otherwise.

The same goes with the others. I hope you got glutamine powder because the dosage is awfully high for pills or capsules.

Sometimes there is a breakout as the poisons take the shortest route out of the body. I would have some tea tree oil body wash to help clear it up quickly in case that happened to me.

1. Olive leaf extract 2. Maximised Caprylic acid 3. Primal defense and 4. L-Glutamine.

What should I expect, if there are any side effects.

Hi Kelley,

Thanks for your last message, I've passed it on to my friend.

I also wanted to ask about coconut milk. I'm aware coconut oil is on the list of top foods to combat leaky gut, but what about coconut milk? I've read numerous sources for and against it. It does have some sugar in it, but I do not exceed 25 grams of carbs a day with it in my diet.

I'm three weeks in now on my recovery plan. I've had 2 meals off, with very obvious consequences. I am still using intestinew, caprylic acid, olive leaf extract and primal defence. I also ensure I eat garlic/ginger/olive oil/coconut oil and some other good foods every day. I am now considering introducing coconut kefir, but I'm worried this feed the yeast, what do you think?

Last question I promise, I'm also using peppermint digestive enzymes as I hope they will help ensure undigested particles do not pass into my blood. What do you think about enzymes?

Thanks for all your advice,

Lucy

Hi Lucy,

It's so great to hear that you're getting so many dramatic improvements: Your skin, digestion and your kidney pain! You go girl!

You might find it's easier to eat a healthy diet, too. Maybe that's happened already.

Graves disease is an auto immune disorder. My recipe gets to the root of auto immune disorders, fixing the cause.

Antibiotics promote more yeast growth, so I would avoid them if it were me.

When the candida travels through the blood stream, it can end up anywhere, certainly in the thyroid. The yeast spits out 80 toxins which can overwhelm any gland.

Getting rid of the yeast gives the body a chance to heal itself.

If it were me, I'd get started and watch the results. It can take a couple months before hair starts regrowing.

The best to you.

I've been following your suggestions plus a very strict fresh meat, veg and salad only diet (one that I've spent a year researching) for 12 days now. So far the results are a dramatic improvement in my skin, digestion and no more kidney pain (my symptoms have worsened in the past 3 months).

I'll keep you posted on how that goes, but I also wanted to ask whether you thought that leaky gut could cause Hyperthyroidism?

My friend has been diagnosed with this, apparently caused by graves disease. Symptoms: Alopecia areata; Increased sweating; stopped periods; hand tremors; general shaking; generally feeling flu-like, emotional, anxious, always on the go,

She's also taken a lot of anti-biotics. I'm asking because I've seen a few sources pointing towards a link between these conditions and leaky gut, and wondered what you thought?

Thanks

Lucy

Hi Shermin,

Sorry you prefer not to take pills or capsules. My recipe includes those two things.

I'd Google another solution to see if you can find one that meets your needs. I would stay away from medications because medications don't fix the problem I've described in the above article but they will surely create some new problems.

The best to you.

Hi Kelly,

I've had acne since I was 16. I've tried antibiotics and my acne went away and my skin cleared up really well. When college started, the stress caused my acne to come back and till now, it never goes away. I've visited many dermatologist, tried new products and creams but it didn't help. The dermatologist prescribed a new anti biotics but sadly I was allergic to it. I'm really upset, I feel as if nothing I do or try helps anymore. One day my skins looks better and the next new pimples pop up and my cheeks get pink. The dots and scars don't go go away either. I still won't give up trying though..

I'm one who doesn't drink much water, I'm trying to drink more now. I'm 19 years old now and I really want to have healthy clear skin and not have to be upset over my skin ever again. How do you think I should go about with this treatment?

Ps. I would prefer not to take pills or capsules, is there any other forms of medication I can take?

Thank you so much

Hi Skyee20 ,

I would first start monitoring my child's urine pH 4 times a day if it were me. It might be best to get a urine pH meter. Do some research on Amazon to find the best one for you.

If they were my children, I would try giving my children 1,000 mgs of borage oil and a teaspoon of organic olive oil. Meanwhile, I'd observe the pH readings to see if it corrected the pH.

Readings are taken at 8am, 1pm, 5pm and 9pm. It should be fun trying to get readings from a two year old.

A correct pH has two readings each day below 6.2 and two readings above. The objective would be for the oils to move towards that balance rather than away from it.

I'd also start feeding my children organic food. A hidden disaster going on is the GMO's in our food. The food is not labeled as GMO.

You might think it's expensive, but it costs far less than doctor visits and procedures. Also organic food is more filling because it has more nutritional activity.

You could call ReNew Life to see if IntestiNew can be given to 2 and 3 year old children. I suspect small doses would be okay.

ThreeLac makes products for young children. It's not quite the same as IntestiNew, but is highly beneficial.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

I'm a desperate mother looking for some help for my children, hopefully you can maybe shed some light in this nightmare that I'm living,

It started June this year I noticed my 3 year old had some enlarged pores on her right cheek, I immediately freaked out because I had never thought twice about her beautiful flawless skin and all of the sudden her pores were enlarging daily it was traumatizing for me I first thought it could be hetedetary because I suffer from really bad skin texture and acne but I didn't start until I turned 15 really, so I was completely worried so I just cleaned her skin with water and moisturized with non clogging moisturizer her skin didn't seem to have any congestion or blackheads, her pores were just opening on their own then they started connecting with lines, that freaked me out! than after two weeks she started showing random scarring on her face, dents, linear scarring, it's been hell to see her beautiful skin transform this way, almost like her skin was collapsing on its own, then my 2 year old started getting some as well, a few random dents in cheeks and my biggest worry is that it's affecting his nose he keeps getting tiny holes/ pores and I don't know how to make its stop, my daughter has had stomach problems since, I knew this was not normal and had to caused by something, so I looked into the only thing I had introduced into their diet which was flaxseed for about two months prior this nightmare started I fed them large amounts daily thinking it was good for them because of the omega 3 but I truly believe I caused some sort of imbalance in them with all the high estrogen content in the seeds, an endocrinologist re affirmed my theory by her being extremely concerned that my 3 yr old daughter might have sent into early puberty due to all the estrogen but thank god everything is normal with that, it's been six months since it al started my daughter skin texture has dramatically improved, there still some damage to her skin but nothing like when it was at its worst.

I have taking them to several doctors no one has been able to help, all i know I based on my research, I also took them to a naturopath and she told me all skin problems come from the gut so could it be possible that the flaxseed affected their intestinal lining? Created an omega 6 defficiency ( causing skin to become very thin and fragile)? Hormanal imbalance? Hopefully you can help me out I don't know where else to turn my babies keep getting tiny clogged pores on their nose that now it leaves tiny holes behind, they never had any skin issues before this how can I help them? They are so tiny:( to be going through this.

Last question, is the intestNEW safe for kids an can they take it, do you recommend your protocol for them? they already take a probiotic but maybe it's not the best.

Hope to her back from you.

Excellent article and your follow up is amazing. Thank you! Between IntestiNew and Michio's superfood, which do you suggest? Or would you do both. I like the sound of the preBs, that is considered more important than proBs right now.

Hi Tom,

If you follow what I say and then go eat lunch at Mickey D's every day and Burger King every night, there's a chance you could get some more acne. ;-)

What my recipe does is to get rid of the cause of acne at a much deeper level what you're doing.

Let me put it this way...if you ever get another pimple again, you'll know what to do to nip it in the bud.

I won't be there to scold you as you live your life possibly making mistakes along the way. But you'll have this little tool bag which is even better, because you'd get tired of buying me lunch.

Since you've been having this problem for a long time, it could take longer to get everything cleared up for good. You might even experience a "break out" as the crud finds the easiest way to leave your body.

If that happens, I'd have some tea tree oil facial/body wash at the ready to use twice a day to minimize it and to get it to clear up more quickly.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

I have suffered from sporadic spots and pimples (sometimes very large) for several years and i struggle in leaving them alone at times. I have really had enough. I use clearasil night and day but have never really tried much else. Now i am 22 its really bugging me.

Do you think this will clear them for good having had problems with them for such a long time?

Hi Celil,

Another option I would use is Michio Kushi's Fermented Super Food with PreB. It is made from 55 different fermented foods in pristine Brazil, so it is probably THE most powerful probiotic product in the world.

Dr. Ohira's is another good one.

The best to you.

Hi LaLa,

This might surprise you, but I'm not an expert on vitamins, so I would defer to other people's opinions regarding them in this case. I'm more of an herb guy. ;-) Evening primrose is supposed to be good for the skin.

However, vitamins have a very low profile for causing problems, so I'd probably try it if it were me.

The best to you.

Hi Kelley,

I'm going to try your regimen of olive leaf extract, caprylic acid, and PB-8. But I'm curious because I currently 2000mg of Evening Primrose and 2 10,000mcg Biotins. I mainly take the Biotin for my hair growth as I want to get it longer. But I was told that these two vitamins were to help as well. Maybe the reason I am breaking out is because it is pushing the toxins out?? My other question is can I take these two vitamins in conjunction with your regimen? I await your response!

Hi Tanja,

I really couldn't say if the burdock tea would help or interfere. I don't know.

The best to you.

Hi Mr. Kelley,

I have been drinking burdock root tea for a couple of days, but then a friend showed me your recipe and I would like to try it. Should i first finish my therapy with tea or is it fine to do it all at the same time?

Thank you!
