How to Heal a Canker Sore - 5 Tips to Cure Canker Sores.

I Believe that canker sores can be one of the most painful ailments you can get. I never understood how much pain and suffering others when through with their canker sores until I had a canker sore. Then, I got another one. And one more. By the end I had 3 PAINFUL canker sores at one time, It was almost impossible to eat or swallow. It was so painful!

So I grabbed my laptop and started searching for remedies and I 'm going to share what I found with the rest of you canker sore sufferers. I recognize your pain, Here is my list!

How to Heal a Canker Sore - 5 Tips to Cure Canker Sores.

>>>> Tip Number 1...Go to your nearest health food store and purchase some "Lysine tablets". Lysine is an aminoalkanoic acid that your body doesn't produce on its own, you'll be able to only get it via your diet. This is the cure that my Dad used when he suffered with painful canker sores, he swears by it. It's also helped me too. And fitting it's at the top of my Home Cures For Canker Sores list.

>>>> Tip Number 2...Apply some baking soda directly on the sore. I did this, and yes it hurt, but it reduced its size by about half and then was gone the next day. It worked for me...Worth giving it a try.

>>>> Tip Number 3...Put a few drops [about 6] of grapefruit seed extract into a glass of water and drink it 3 times a day. Grapefruit seed extract has the repute of being an superior antiseptic. Be forewarned, though, it has an awful taste. Use a strong tasting juice such as grape juice to camouflage the flavor. Note, this is also my mother-in-law's remedy for a cold also!

>>>> Tip Number 4...Salt is the miracle remedy. I take approximately one tablespoonful of salt and I pack it in my mouth all over the sores. I leave it in my mouth for at least 15 minutes. It burns like crazy, likely since the salt is extracting the poison, but it works.

>>>> Tip Number 5...When your canker sore is gone, get rid of your old toothbrush! This way you won't give it to yourself again with any of the bacteria that caused the canker sore in the first place.

I hope these tips help you to heal your canker sores fast! Even so, there are a lot of folks that suffer these painful canker sores repeatedly. Why is that you ask? I have discovered that there typically is a much bigger emotional issue that brings on the canker sores, and once you get to the root cause of the emotion behind what's causing your canker sores, you can get rid of them for good.

I'm sure this sounds farfetched, but I'm pleased to report that after having several years of canker sores every couple of months, I haven't had one now in over 2 years. Read more about What is a Canker Sore in The Mouth?

I have had chronic canker sores for years and discovered an Rx called triamcinolone dental paste. It is a miracle medicine. I put it on at night when they start to form and they will heal so quickly!

I have tried everything I can think of on the internet for a cure for mouth canker sores. This has been going on for weeks. It started after having a denture mold made for a new partial.

I can't remember the last time I had one. Now I am trying a baking soda paste. I just applied it and so far it feels better. Time will tell.
