So You Need to Quit Your Job?
"I Need to Quit My Job"
You say it all the time: "I need to quit my job" but do you do anything about it? If you need to quit your job then at this point you've made it a necessity, you absolute have to do it. I mean you've obviously been searching for it on the internet or else you wouldn't have come across this article right?
First things first take a chillaxitive and relax (no there's no such thing as a chillaxitive so don't go looking for it at the store). You're not the only one in this world who has this utter desire and need to quit their job. There are tons and tons of people in the world are are not satisfied with their lives and simply just want a new career or just a totally different option in life. Now you have to ask yourself what exactly it is that you want to do? What's the reason that you want to quit your job? I can guess your number one reason is that you're probably unhappy doing whatever it is that you do for a living.
You're going to be fine, no need to worry. There are plenty of options in this world for you to be happy and make a living at the same time. You've just got to quit. Simple as that. Working is not like a habit such as smoking or a drug. You simply go to your work, speak to your boss and resign in a polite manner, that's it. You've just created a new option in your life to do whatever it is you want to do.
There are obvious cases in which you have a family to support or rent to pay, in this case you can't just up and quit or else you'll go homeless. But build something on the side so that when it's time for you to quit your job you can do it with ease. There is no reason to be afraid because you determine how your life is going to be. Your life isn't determined by what your schedule is this week for work. That's you organizing your life around your work, you need your work to organize around your life.
So if you're in need of quitting your job just keep it short, simple, and polite. Treat other people how you would want to be treated and move on with your life.
cheers
