Better Sexual Health with Ginseng
Ginseng is one of the best known and popular of aphrodisiacs. The word Ginseng means "Wonder of the world". It’s known as a “cool” herb due to its relaxing effects. Records, however, show that ginseng was used for medicinal purposes over 5,000 years ago. You can improve your sexual health and overall energy level with ginseng.
The old Chinese Canon of Medicine states that ginseng strengthens the soul, brightens the eyes, opens the heart, expels evil, benefits understanding and if taken for prolonged periods of time will invigorate the body and prolong life. It was more valuable than gold during the Qing dynasty of ancient China.
The Atherva Veda, a Sacred Book from the East states: “seed that is poured into the female that forsooth is the way to bring forth a son .... the strength of the horse, the mule, the goat and the ram, moreover, the strength of the bull (ginseng) bestows on him ..... This herb will make thee so full of lusty strength that thou shalt, when thou art excited, exhale heat as a thing on fire.”
Recently, the Journal of Urology reported, "the Mean International Index of Erectile Function scores were significantly higher in patients treated with Korean red ginseng than in those who received placebo." Its suggested that ginsenoside components including phytoestrogen have an effect on human libido.
