 I have always loved to work out.  Not that I always do it on a regular basis, but working up a sweat is something I look forward to.

I have done many different workout regimes such as aerobic, strength, yoga etc.  And though I felt good doing each program, I always felt like I was missing something.  Like a part of my body wasn't getting enough attention or that my mind was letting a part of me off easy by not demanding enough out of my muscles.

Realizing that I needed more, I decided to buy a workout dvd by Jillian Michaels, trainer from the hit show 'The Biggest Loser'.

I knew that in buying it I was going to have force myself to actually be motivated enough to open it up because as most people know, working out at home is sometimes the hardest thing to do. 

But I took it as a challenge to myself and I have not been happier with any purchase that I've made off Amazon.

Get ready to get SHREDDED!

3-2-1 Shred!

A great part of Jillian Michaels 30-Day Shred is its convenience in regards to time. A 20-minute intense workout means that you can fit it in to any part of your day, including a lunch break. It is also convenient in the fact that it doesn't take too much space to do. Because there are no sweeping moves that requires a large space, even someone with a tiny apartment can do it.

But the best part of the workout is the 3-2-1 system that Jillian uses. Starting with 3 minutes of strength, you then go to 2 minutes of cardio and finally 1 minute of abs. Then the cycle repeats itself but with different moves.

And because the program has 3 levels of exercise, you can progress at your own pace and advance when you feel ready.

The beauty of it is that you don't get bored or feel like you can't do it because you know its no more than 3 minutes at a time, but you work your butt off and sweat like crazy, and are usually swearing by the end of it.

Oh the Pain, the Beautiful Pain...

 I remember finishing my first Shred workout and feeling really shaky.  I was red as a beet, unsteady as a drunk, heaving like a asthmatic, and I have never felt better.  The next day, my legs were so sore, I could hardly walk, go down stairs or even lower myself gracefully to the toilet.  In short, my legs were in deep rebellion and I rejoiced in the pain.

In 20 short minutes, I had successfully worked out my whole body at a level of intensity that you would generally get in an hour at the gym. 

Buying Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred is totally worth it and seeing results on my body has me shouting from the mountain tops, or more literally, writing to the masses of the greatness of this DVD.  You won't regret this buy, that is a certainty!
