Inspiring Lajin Exercise Testimony

I received an email about pain cure. Impreesive and very well written. Don't know who he is. I must thank him for his generous kind sharing. I respect you. His text is detailed below:

My back pain

Hi my dear friends,

I want to share something important with all of you.

Many of us have back pain, or prostrate problem. Do not suffer in silence!

The following is my own experience:

I have been diagnosed with herniated disks at L4, L5 & S1 about 1.5 years ago.

This caused severe pain radiating down, along my thigh and leg, next to the Tibia( Shinbone ), till the bottom of my left foot.

Every night, I had problem having continuous sleep, as the leg pain would wake me up a few times.

Also, I could not walk for more than 1 hour without taking a short rest.

If I sit for a while and stand up, I need to stand for a few seconds before I could walk normally.

This pain while walking, forced me to compensate my normal walking posture, leading to more pains at my left knee.

My orthopedic looked at the MRI and told me that I should be OK with physiotherapy.

This, I faithfully did........ for some16 months.

There were certainly some relief, but it came back after a few hours.

Over these 16 months, I have tried all sorts of treatment.

Physiotherapy like ultra sound, Interferential current therapy, ice pack treatment, with and without acupuncture.

Also, Chinese medicine, urut, 2 different places for acupuncture, cupping, and later another full course of special Chinese acupuncture, but none of these resulted in any permanent cure.

All in all, I spent in excess of RM4000 on these treatments.

I was only some 30% improved from my worst pain!

......and it plateaued off.

In between, I also went for a knee arthroscopic operation, but nothing changed. Another RM8000 wasted.

I did go for Hyaluronic acid injection on the knee, and it was good. The back pain, however, persisted.

After consulting 5 orthopedics, 4 in Penang, and 1 in Damansara, I was finally told to accept life, and live with the problem :((

Now this is the good news!

Recently, I have a sudden break though, and the treatment is not something new.

It's La-jin, which I translate into 'extreme stretching'.

In fact, I tried La-jin about a year ago, but half heartedly( only few minutes), and there was no noticeable result.

So I gave up!

2 months ago, I went to Jiuzaigou, and I really suffered!

Life without mobility became so meaningless for me.

After coming back, I brought out the 2 La-jin books again, and became more convinced after reading the 1st book in great detail!

I located a proper place in my house and tried la-jin in the morning, for 15 minutes per leg.

There was a sudden improvement, but I dare not even tell my wife, for fear that it is just a flash in the pan.

In the evening, I did again, this time for 20 minutes per leg.

You will never believe what I experienced!!!!

It's like a miracle, I suddenly felt a great relief on my leg pain, and I could have a sound sleep without any leg pain throughout the night.

Technically, it means my impacted nerve got released!

Traditional Chinese medical term means: 通则不痛,痛则不通。

I will put it as 70% reduction from my worst pain.

I kept this secret and was sooooo happy that the pain did not come back in the next 3 days.

Then I shared this good news, only with my wife.

.....Ironically, I did not know that the La-jin Sifu, Mr Xiao, was giving a talk in Han Chiang this same night!

However, close friends can tell the difference immediately, as I can walk straight away when I stand up, and I do not drag when I walk.

Since then, I have been doing La-jin faithfully.

20 minutes per leg, once or twice a day.

Today, I can walk for 3 hours without any problem. I can also walk up and down staircase without much problem.

Now, I am probably 85% better off, and the most beautiful part is that:

'This treatment is FREE!'

Tonight, I gathered enough courage to share this with all of you.

Ozziekiwi,

Do lajin for at least 15 minutes on each side. The result is fantastic.

For lower back pain and heel pain, stand on a Lajin Slanting Board also can help.

The Reader

I am in my 6th day only [4-6 times per day] of stretching using the standing in the doorway with arms raised La-Jin exercise..... and am feeling more flexible in my previously very chronic back....right hip and right leg muscles.

Does anyone else wish to comment on the time it takes to heal whatever the problem? .........................ozziekiwi

Lajin Tendons/Ligaments Stretching Can Heal Back Pain and Bone Spurs

Since 2 1/2 months ago, we had treated one old lady for her back pain. She had many spurs and herniated disks at two parts of her spine, the upper and lower spine. Her body/spine was skewed very much towards one side. She had a fall and the situation got worst.

During her first treatment with Qi, she described that she saw a pink or purple ( I hope i remember correctly) colour. Her pain got relieved. She also tried doing Lajin Stretching .

On the second/third meet, she brought along her thick medical report about her x-ray on the spine. She was recommended for operation by specialists but she and her husband refused to since she is already so old. Her husband bought a Lajin Bench from me for her. We continued to treat her for another few times. After that she did not come any more due to distance and being busy.We did not know how well she was coping with her pain. After about a month later, the husband called me and introduced a Lajin Bench buyer for me.

It strike my mind that she must have improved or else they would never recommend a friend to buy a Lajin Bench. So I asked from sichieh about her conditions. The answer was she was doing very well. So much so that she had started doing Tai Chi Chuan again.

I requested her to come and show us. She came last Sat 15/12/12. We all were so surprise. She could walk and stood with body straight. Her complexion also look radiant unlike before where she looked haggard and weak. What a change. She shared with us that during her suffering she had to cook by sitting on a stool and raised and rested one of her leg on another stool when cooking. She could not even walk for a few steps then. Now she can walk long distance or stand without feeling pain.

Many young ladies have no desire in practicing Paida and Lajin for the purpose of curing diseases, but are keenly interested in practicing them for the purpose of weight loss. Well, in that case, just do Lajin for weight loss! The fact is, obesity is a disease, indicating that the Spleen, Stomach, Liver and Gall Bladder Meridians are blocked. In addition to Y-shaped Lajin, squat stretching position (baby hugging), Lajin in reclining position and other Lajin postures are all contribute to weight loss. Dear readers, please forget the disease name, and use “carpet bombing” strategy (to clear all the meridians in your body)!

I have been using a Lajin bench to do Lajin for a year. It feels great. I am not doing Paida every day, but I have never stopped Lajin. Ever since I started Lajin over a year ago, I have not taken a single pill. On two occasions, I caught a cold during Paida in winter (my skin was exposed to the cold weather), and I had it cured with continued Paida.

This May, I was selected by the provincial headquarters of our company to participate in a technical contest, so I was away for a week. Work was hectic, and I didn’t have time to do Lajin. Several days without Lajin before sleep, and I already missed it. I immediately thought of Y-shaped horizontal Lajin, tried it, and could not drop it. The first time I did Y-shaped Lajin, the Liver, Spleen and Kidney Meridians along the inside of my legs hurt a lot, and the inside of my knees were also quite painful. I knew such great pain was an indicator that these three meridians were blocked. I have some knowledge of meridians: Those overweight have stagnated Spleen Meridian; those suffering from uterine fibroids have clogged Liver, Spleen and Kidney Meridians. And I had both diseases. I was happy to have experienced the wonderful effects of Y-shaped Lajin, and I believe I will definitely self heal these problems.

I did it twice a day, 20 minutes before getting up in the morning, and another 20 minutes before bedtime. The fat in the inner thighs were gone. I immediately shared this Lajin method with my younger sister and my colleagues. My sister tried it for a week, and she felt that there was less fat in her hip and thighs.

My colleagues could not accept Paida — some are afraid of pain; and the younger ones do not have major health problems (and therefore, are not motivated to practice it). When it was mentioned that the Y-shaped Lajin contributes to weight loss, 100% of them readily accepted it. This type of Lajin is quite simple — you can do it on a bed, or by moving one end of a Lajin bench against the wall. It is really great!
