Hi Nat, Congratulations on your weight loss, that's an amazing achievement! I think you'll love the mini trampoline; I have a Needak, but the Urban Rebounder is another good brand. Just be sure you get a quality rebounder or you'll end up disappointed. Not all of them have the same nice bounce as well as the necessary stability. I've had mine for several years and I have 5 kids who bounce on it daily as well and it's still as good as the day we bought it. With the rebounder, you really do get what you pay for. Thanks for some of the advice! I have lost 95 pounds--31 of those were lost in this yr alone. As for the mini-trampalene, I started saving up for those already. I had already noticed my stomach getting smaller a few weeks ago as well!

Wow! This hub is full of awesome tips for slimming down. I was mentally patting myself on the back every time I read a tip that I incorporate into my life (and kicked myself for the ones I'm missing).

One quick thing to add: Being sleep-deprived also causes you to eat as a way to get more energy to stay awake. Obviously, that means more calories and possibly more fat, if you aren't careful. So sleeping more (to a degree) is better for multiple reasons!

There are some really great tips here. I think a lot of people get too stressed out while dieting which makes them actually eat more. Ultimately losing weight is about changing your everyday habits...I also agree that eating more fruits and veggies is the way to go.

carmellowyoshi, crunches are a great way to build abs, strengthen the core, and even burn fat. Unfortunately, even with a lot of ab work there can be belly fat covering the muscle. naaz, I use an organic green tea. Sometimes I get it with raspberry in it, but there are a lot of good ones on the market. I would stay away from anything that has anything other than tea and maybe some natural flavor. Nothing that has added ingredients specifically designed to help you lose weight, etc. The most important thing is to find one that you enjoy. Thanks for reading and commenting.

lightning john,that's exactly right. It takes approximately 20 minutes before your body sends those signals that it is full. Most people don't realize that you do not need to eat that much. Simply slowing down and stopping when you feel satisfied, as opposed to FULL can make a huge difference.

I recently had a visiter for an evening meal that I had prepared. I really like cooking, and I enjoy seeing people eat my food. But this guy eats like a hound dog. He consumed two full plates before I had finished my one, and was going for a third. As I sat there smiling looking at him I then realized why he is 50 to 80lb. over weight.
