Lose a Pound a Week -5 Ways to Cut 500 Calories a Day!

Lose 1 Pound a Week!

You in all probability already know the numbers to lose a pound a week...You need to reduce 3,500 calories to lose one single pound. To lose a healthy pound weekly, you need to cut 500 calories a day from your diet! But you don’t need to impoverish yourself or add another hour to your exercise workout to reach your 500 calories less a day goals.

Here are 5 no-sweat ways for dumping calories anytime, anyplace.

>>>> Lose a pound a week during your breakfast...Do some trading. Swap out your bagel for an English muffin to cut 220 calories, have a glass of low fat milk to save another 70 calories, make your three-egg omelet a one egg and two egg whites, or pork sausage for a healthy turkey sausage to slash another 125 calories of your breakfast menu.

>>>> At lunch time...Get mobile during your lunch hour. A lively 15-minute walk uses up approx100 calories, and it gives you less time to eat. Walking during your lunch for five days and you'll burn up another 500 extra calories. Or try putting on a pedometer to track out 10,000 steps daily, or about 5 miles and you’ll automatically burn 500 calories without even spending any time at the gym.

Another way to lose a pound a week during your lunch break is by chewing your food longer. This is an easy way to cut calories by slowing down when you eat. Women who chewed at least 20 times prior to swallowing consumed 70 calories less at lunch. Because it takes 20 to 30 minutes for your body to figure out that you are full, researchers consider eating more slowly permits you to get to the point where you feel full on fewer calories than if you’re taking in.

>>>> At supper time...Take smaller portions on your plate...This can quickly help lose a pound a week. Instead of depriving yourself of food to drop some pounds, merely use smaller plates. People eat as much as they put on their plate instead of the quantity that their body really needs, If you reduce the size of your plates by 25 percent, such as going using a 9-inch plate rather than a 12-inch plate, you’ll cut 500 calories without going hungry.

>>>> Watching television...You can easily lose a pound a week if you don't snack in front of the television. Folks who snack while watching the television consume an average of 300 extra calories a day because they’re eating senselessly. If you would like to snack, turn off the TV, serve yourself on a plate, and actually pay attention to what you are putting in your mouth to really slash those calories.

>>>> Throughout exercising...Change it up. You'll be able to use up another 250 calories in a 30 minutes, or 500 in an 60 minutes, by integrating intervals versus working out at the same rate, Whether you’re swimming circuits, jogging, working out on a stationary bike, or running on the treadmill, you can step-up the calorie burning by speeding up the pace to the point where you're so short-winded that you can’t even talk for 30 seconds, then decelerate for one and half minutes to recoup.

You know you are doing the 30-second pushes correctly if you’re grunting or you feel like screaming. Begin with a 5-minute limber up, repeat these 30-second intervals 8 times, and then recoup for 10 minutes. Why stop at one pound a week?

I so agree with eating smaller portions of foods to help in losing weight. Probably I could make use of smaller plates when eating.

For sure...Just the difference from a 12 inch plate to a 9 inch plate and eating slower can really add up in calorie loss.
