Losing Weight Is A Lifestyle Change: You Can't Just Diet and Quit
Change your lifestyle and Keep that weight off
Many people have constantly yo-yo dieted for nearly their entire life. This can be exhausting, and disappointing. You worked so hard dieting to lose that weight, and now its back because you went back to your old ways. Why can’t we diet and exercise and keep it off? Even celebrities have even experienced this, such as Kirstie Alley. It can happen to all of us if we aren't careful with what we eat. What many people don’t realize is that losing weight is a lifestyle change. If you lose 30 pounds because you dieted and exercised a few times a week, right when you stop you are going to gain the pounds back. This has happened to me, and thousands of people that achieved weight loss.
The goal of losing weight is to keep it off. What is the point of losing weight if you just give up your healthy eating and gain it back? If we want to be healthy and thin we can’t go back to eating unhealthy and be inactive. That is the simple secret. If you want to stay thin and keep the weight off, you have to change your lifestyle. Changing what you eat is so important. Imagine if you lost 50 pounds, and felt so happy that you could go back to eating junk again. Just because you lost weight doesn’t mean it can’t come creeping up on you again. It can, and it can happen twice as fast as the time it took to lose it.
Be smart about what you eat. Remember, diets fail because they are temporary. If you want to lose weight for good you have to make a permanent lifestyle change! Stay active and eat right. If you exercise daily and all of a sudden stop, your body will lose its strength and metabolism. You don’t want to do all that work just to have to repeat it all over again.
