How to Sleep Well
This is the second time that I have written about sleep in a hub. Sleep is magical in its effects on our health, on our strength, and on our overall well being. If you fail to get proper sleep (and this idea of proper sleep is more than just getting enough hours of sleep) you health will suffer in the long run. Also, your relationships with others will suffer because you will find yourself going through the day feeling tired, irritated, that is, you will feel angry and you will be impatient with the people in your life. Lack of sleep also causes your work to suffer, and your writing will be less that you want it to be, because your creativity is adversely affected by a lack of sleep.
Quality sleep can be difficult for many of us to get. If your sleeping environment is too noisy this may cause problems for sleeping. If your bed partner snores loudly this may cause a problem for you, getting to sleep, or it may awaken you out of your restful sleep. Too much light in your sleeping environment may cause a problem for you falling off to sleep.
If you have serious problems sleeping there I great articles written that can be googled on the Internet, scientifically written, peer-reviewed articles even. Lastly, you may have to go to a sleep counselor, a doctor or other professional, to get help for the problem, if you can afford it. I know that many of us have budgets that we have to adhere to. But don't ignore the problem. It will wreck you health and your life if it worsens. The several "one hundred year old people" that I know are all great sleepers. Getting great sleep is one of the secrets to living a long, healthy, prosperous, and full life. This is the kind of life I want to see you have, "a great life." As you go,"Peace."
