I'd have to say that papaya would be my favorite remedy here, though they aren't as common here in the U.S. Onion, which is one of my favorite foods, would be the one I'd like to try. Voting this Up and Useful.

I like the comments that "all do their job" and to find the one which works best for you. Some herbal products have combinations of these that work well and are popular with some of our customers.

Perspycacious, herbal and other natural remedies have for too long being given a back seat. Any traditional medicine which has survived the onslaught of time deserves a look in. It surely must have something in it to still be around.

Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate your comments.

Hi Rajan,

I have started using fresh squeezed lemon juice mixed with water in the mornings just to make my body more alkaline which I understand is good. We grow mint and basil in the backyard (among other things) so it is an easy one for us to incorporate into our diets. Very interesting combination of things that can help people suffering with dyspepsia. Up votes, sharing and pinning.

@Peggy-lemon is the easiest way to make the body alkaline. Bacteria cannot thrive in an alkaline medium. Glad you have herbs like mint and basil growing in your backyard. Thanks for all the sharing and visit.

@Rose-glad you appreciate the info. Thanks.
