Research From University of Southern California Shows That Fasting Results Are Remarkable
Scientists at the University of Southern California have found that fasting for only 3 days can regenerate your entire immune system. They are describing this breakthrough as remarkable. A fast of 3 days causes the stem cells to produce new white blood cells that fight off infection. Also this can reduce the toxic effects of chemotherapy.

At the time of Jesus (2,000 years ago) it was the main medicine that the Jews used. This is why the bible has 74 references to fasting. It has been used by Jesus, Moses, Buddha, Mohammad, Mahatma Gandhi, Pythagoras, Dick Gregory and many other famous people. President Abraham Lincoln even created a day of fasting.

Humiliation in the above is not talking about embarrassing someone but having humility. Fasting can be challenging since animals, like humans, are made to enjoy eating and sex to ensure the survival of the individual and the species. The picture of Hugh Jackman is from an article about the 5:2 diet (that he has done) that is a type of intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting is when you fast for less than a day. The 5:2 diet is when you eat normally for 5 days of the week and for 2 days you only eat 500 to 600 calories daily.

Actually many experts have known for dozens of years that fasting is the best thing for the immune system and causes the body to aggressively fight off any invaders. Also the article explains how fasting for 3 days can help a person’s body to deal with the toxic effects of chemotherapy with a quote about it from Tanya Dorff M.D.
Here is an example of this. Weston Price D.D.S. (1870-1948), was a dentist and researcher who killed his son. Although it is not the way that it sounds. He gave his son a root canal and it got infected. There were no antibiotics at that time. The infection entered the son’s brain and killed him. Of course the son ate food and this feeds the infection. Is there an alternative to eating food? Yes, it is calling fasting. You do not eat anything and just drink pure water.
I, Chuck Bluestein, also got a root canal. It got infected. The dentist had me take penicillin but it did not work. So he had me take a much stronger antibiotic. He had told me that the infection can enter my brain. So I started taking it and it was working and reducing the infection. But it was also giving me terrible headaches so I stopped taking it.
I already knew about fasting and infections but I called an expert on this. He is a doctor of chiropractic (D.C.) who fasted for 26 days and after that switched to a raw plant-food diet. When I called him, he had been on that diet for over 40 years. He confirmed that if I fasted the infection would go away in a few days. So I wrote a signed letter and mailed it to my dentist telling him what I was doing and also stating that if I do die, it would not be his fault since his antibiotic was working before I stopped using it.
This expert told me that if I had tried doing a fast when my tooth first started hurting (before it required the root canal), it may have saved the tooth. This tooth had no decay (at least on the outside). But several months before this root canal, it had extensive deep drilling. The dentist told met that sometimes the trauma to the tooth while drilling (close to the root) will cause the root to eventually die. So he figured that is what happened and a root canal is the best thing.
So I had got the root canal. I tried fasting with the infected root canal and in a few days the infection was gone, just like the expert predicted. I could also easily tell if it was getting better or worse since my face was very swollen. It even scared the dentist when he saw how swollen my face was. After Weston Price’s son died, he did a lot of research and learned that root canals are bad news. He tried to get dentists to ban root canals. Since then doctors have come forth and said that over 90% of their patients that died of cancer, had root canals (dead teeth) in their mouth. They say that this creates a breeding ground for nasty bacteria– having a dead tooth in your mouth. They also say that it causes heart disease.

Do You Fast Everyday? Is Sleeping Bad for Health?
This is a simple question. Do you fast everyday? Would you know if you did? Why do many people say that sleep is bad for you without knowing it? Would not a person know if they said that sleep is bad for health. There was a recent article about how when you sleep, there is an intensive cleaning of the toxins from your brain. So you can say that sleeping is brainwashing. Wash means to clean, not to program.
Also they have found that the more sleep people get, the less that they weigh. The root word of ignorance is ignore. But it appears that most people ignore that when you are sleeping, you are also fasting. So if you say that fasting is bad for health, you are saying that sleep is bad for health. So many of the benefits of sleeping may also be from someone fasting.
When a person stops a fast, he breaks the fast. The first meal of the day after waking up from sleep is called break-fast. Also the longer someone sleeps, the longer that their fast is. When someone fasts for a few days, they can have sleeping that is very deep and regenerative. It is said that if someone fasts for 10 days, it completely purifies the blood.
I have seen that the more toxins that someone has the weaker the immune system. For example people associate cancer with toxins, but they also know that it is an issue with their immune system. It is similar with colds and the flu. Some people never get colds and the flu. I have not had one for over a decade and I come in contact with many people and surfaces. Some get a flu that lasts a short time and others get one that lasts a long time.
Mark Twain used to get over colds and the flu quickly by fasting when he got one. Also you can get tons of vitamin D without eating any food by getting lots of sunlight or by sunbathing. Vitamin D helps your immune system and also helps your body to get rid of toxins. When trying to get over a flu or cold, everyone knows that getting lots of sleep is important.
In natural medicine they say that the main cause of disease and sickness is toxemia. This means that one has too much toxins in their body. Fasting works well in helping the body get rid of these toxins. Now people will say that there is no need to fast since your body is cleansing itself of toxins daily. This is like saying that people who have a job have plenty of money since they are getting paid at least every 2 weeks.
But many people have too much money at the end of their money. So people are also taking in toxins everyday. Now if you spend more than you make, you will be in debt. If you take in more toxins than you get rid of then the toxins will accumulate and build up. Fasting gives you the chance to catch up on the cleansing.
Paul Bragg is responsible for starting the health movement in the U.S. back in the 1930s and his daughter Patricia has continued his work. Now they fast every Monday (he is no longer alive now). They also fast 3 days of every month. Now I did the math. That means that they fast 1 week out of every month. Then every 6 months they will fast 7 to 10 days. A fast means consuming only water. A juice fast is where one consumes only juice. Some will call a fast a water fast, but that is redundant like saying herbal herbs.
Why Fasting is the Best Way to Clean the Colon
Dr. Herbert Shelton (D.C., N.D.) fasted about 40,000 people. On the first 6,000 he had everyone of them take a daily enema. Then he stopped since he realized that they were not needed. Here is why. The heart beats or contracts constantly 24 hours a day. It never gets a break. The colon also contracts constantly without ever getting a break.
But during a fast the colon can stop contracting and get a much needed vacation. Now how do I know this when I have never seen it in a book or on the internet. I have read a great deal on fasting. When I fast I will reach a point where I have no need to defecate for many days. Then when I start eating (called breaking the fast), I may need to defecate before I am done eating the meal. Now food cannot travel through the whole digestive system that fast. It takes about 24 hours.
So that means that when I start eating it causes the colon to start contracting again. And that night you may need to do a great deal of defecating. Fasting expert Arnold Ehret noticed this also. Also after the colon gets this vacation, it works better than it ever did and is aggressive at getting rid of all that waste that is in it.
