Positivity Plus Sobriety Equals Happiness
The title above has nothing to do with mathematics, although the equation speaks for itself. Positivity plus sobriety equals happiness is something I had learned when I decided to quit drinking alcohol.
This is the formula in which saved my life. The formula that could change and save your life as well. Positivity is not in every alcoholic mind because most of the alcoholics including myself kind of live in a world of negativity and the alcohol we drink help bring us down and helps with our negative thoughts. Alcohol, even though we think is the fix all, have fun, forget all drug, I beg to differ. The horrible addiction we call alcoholism is nothing but a downer and will bring you down if you let it. So far down that sooner or later you may have the privilege of hitting rock bottom thanks to the alcohol demons that lurk inside each and every alcoholic.
Positivity, willingness, determination, strength, willpower and all together helps you to get sober and stay sober and along with that and your sobriety makes happiness come back into your life.
I have never met one person in my life time that didn't want to be happy, have you? Happiness and smiling each and everyday really makes you feel like a million bucks, at least it does for me now. The problem with being addicted to alcohol is that not many alcoholics are happy. They maybe happy for different reasons that the true meaning of happiness. They are happy when they get their fix of alcohol and drugs. Yes, they are happy right? Wrong! They are the most unhappy people in the world and as much as they want true happiness and not a substance in their body that (makes them think they are happy) they will never find the true word of happiness and sobriety.
These people, just like I was, need to decide what type of life they wish to live and and once they have decided they must act on it and take massive action in order to change their lives around. There are only two answers to this question. One, is do you want to be happy and sober and enjoy the one and only life you have, or do you wish to continue to self-destruct yourself until you are no longer able to change or it is too late to do anything after your health starts to decline and heading to the point of no return.
I decided to live life clean and sober and live the clean life. Anyone that is addicted to alcohol has the same chance to change their life and has the same two questions to answer. They are not hard questions and I truly hope you have chosen the right path in your life. It is all in your hands and your mind of what road to take.
