Yoga asana and Exercise after childbirth

Padma asana could be repeated with right and left leg up alternatively it helps to tone the leg muscles too

Prayanam and yoga are boons to human being ,it has an ability to cure diseases metal or physical if done regularly .

Post delivery yoga and prayanam---

It is said that after giving birth to a child ,it is the rebirth of a mother ,to give birth to a baby ,mother passes through unbearable pains and traumas,this is the reason why women need special care of 40 days after giving birth to a child,the care may be related to physical or mental condition or both at the same time

Every woman want her body to be full of energy and beauty after delivering a child ,for this she need to take post natal care ,which may include post natal yoga and prayanam .

Here are some asanas prescribed .for the mother who have just delivered a child :

  • To start with the exercise and asanas of yoga and prayanam one must let 6 to 7 weeks pass after the delivery .
  • The advantages of post natal exercises are as follows :
  • It help to control the increased weight and also balances hormones of a woman .
  • It tones the pelvic floor and abdominal muscles .
  • After the delivery, the uterus hangs down in the pelvic region ,yoga help to shrink it .
  • Due to excess pressure of carrying a baby the lower back seems to be under a lot of pressure ,thus doing yoga helps to relief pain and tone the back muscles .
  • The yogasanas helps to regulate the blood pressure and also provides good posture to a woman who might has changed her walking style during pregnancy.
  • Yoga helps to relax mental and physical tiredness ,it brings mental peace and helps you to relax and sleep .
  • The yoga asanaya and prayanams that need to be done during post natal period
  • Chanting of OOMMM____________
  • Sit in a padma asana ,close your eyes and forget the world around you take deep breath and chant Om _-___ with your eyes closed.
  • note-- While chanting OMM exhale from your mouth.
  • Advantages:--After delivery a woman often becomes depressed ,this asana is specially meant to control metal depression in women ,with this asana you get mental peace ,this asana helps to improve the memory ,control nervous problems .
