Universal Prayer For World Peace

Prayer forms the core of my daily spiritual practice. As a writer, I love to create and write my own prayers. This prayer, the Universal Prayer For World Peace, I wrote following 9/11. I  would like to share with fellow Hubbers and all those, who like me, are inspired by the presence of President Obama and his family in our lives.

Prayer For Universal Peace

"WE are all born with gifts to offer, gifts to heal ourselves, our families, our communities. Let us use our skills and abilities to create world peace and prosperity"

Let us pray for universal peace, justice and understanding, let us pray that the leaders of our nations speak words of peace, forgiveness, honesty and integrity; let us pray that those who are suffering find comfort and, in time, inner peace; let us hold each other, stand together and celebrate our uniqueness and divinity; let all people of the world reflect the beauty of their Creator: let all nations strive for healthy union with one another; let the cry of the injured, hurt and maim bodies of soldiers and their families who grieve their loss, feel the warm embrace of the Power of their Creator's Grace and Beauty; let us all take responsibility to work together to cultivate the Spirit of Universal Kindness, Peace, Tranquility; as we awake and create a brighter today, let our hearts be open, our Spirits strong, our minds focused on sowing seeds for a safer, secure and harmonious future for our children's children's children; through the Power of Love, let us heal our broken hearts, mend our fragmented bodies and give comfort to the shattered minds and souls to all we know; let us offer a sign of peace to all we meet today. As a people we are strong; may the rays of love, light and beauty, heal, strengthen, guide and protect us ALL.

Through the Power of Grace we are One.

Peace and Blessings Be With Us All

Whitelighter - that is a beautiful prayer and one I also regularly use. Have you read the book - The Prayer of Jazeb for Women - breaks down the four parts of the Prayer into Jaeb and looks at relevance for women today.

A loving prayer. I am with you here. Let's pray for America, too. If only because it's so vast, economically large and carries a great responsibility.
