Living Life Before It's Too Late

I'm playing it safe.

I'm on my way to the cemetery. I am.

Life is a journey. Keep the faith and play it safe.

Handle things with respect.

Don't walk before you talk. Don't judge before you know.

People are always around you. Make contacts. Accept your life.

Choose the right things. You will fail. You will learn.

Cry if you want to. Don't die if you want to. Keep living.

Pretend it's a good world, but see the reality. It hits you sometimes.

Your eyes can see things your mouth doesn't want to talk about.

Your ears can hear things, but you don't need to speak it all out.

Choose wisely. Always. All friends aren't friends. Learn to pick the right ones.

Hug your children. Show your love.

Find that inner piece. The road can be bumpy sometimes.

Search for the meaning. Don't be afraid. Learn things and imagine a wonderful world.

You are here right now. Tomorrow is still blank.

You can plan ahead and aim for a goal. Try to reach it. Don't give up.

You are on your way – always. Take a chance – sometimes.

Do things you remember. The past haunts some of us. Forgetting can be hard.

It's the time in your life right now, when things are changing.

One day you'll be old – if you are fortunate to be alive.

I know. You are playing it safe.

On the way to the cemetery there's no time left.

Life is sometimes shorter than we think.

I'm acting today.

Hi Bill, in four months when I have finished my studies, I'll start writing more. These words just came to me and I wrote them down... I'll try to write something more important next time. :) Thank you so much! I appreciate you friendship and loyalty, Bill.

Hugs from a rainy(!) Finland.

This is a very thought provoking hub. You wrote of many things that are surely true. Good advice and rated up!

Thank you for this. After officiating 247 funerals, I have found my most powerful words to be, "Did they live a good life?"

Mhatter99, that is a good question. We should try to do things we like while we are here. Thank you!

Well Madeleine I acted today and I am glad I did because it's always a lovely experience to visit you and also to receive your visits as well.

I always say that life is short enough so say your piece now and show the ones you truly care how you feel about them or else one day it may be too late.

You have written words which can pertain to everyone in one form or another - and I call it the bookends of life - life and death itself - so yes these are poetic thoughts and words to live by and they are made even more so by someone as special and talented a writer like yourself.

Sending warm wishes to you and your family from lake erie time ontario canada 5:45pm in what I would call our most winter like day of the new year - cold, blowing snow and a good day to be inside

Thank you epi, life is probably shorter than we think even if we are here for many, many years. I guess I mostly wrote this for myself. It's like an inner monologue. You say I'm a talented writer. I'm not sure about that, but I'm trying to learn while I live. Maybe I'll be a writer one day ...

It's a cloudy morning here in Finland. I'm hoping for some sun today. I'd really like to go skiiing. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Take care, epi! Thank you for you loyalty. I aprreciate your visits very much. :)

Whoo what a great read:

You MADE my day

And gave it meaning

Walking the path you walk

The cemetery

Has some future, in its time

The past

Has its wisdom, from your crafted words

And yes the road goes on
