My friend forwards me an e-mail that had a list of healthy benefits of raw honey and cinnamon powder. I knew honey was good for you but I did not know how much to take or how long I should use it. It listed benefits such as hearing lose, bad breath, strengthen your immune system, weight lose and more. So I decided to give it a try. I first decided to try it for weight loss but I was more concerned with my immune system and did not want to get sick this winter with all the sneezing and other symptoms of the common cold. I looked at this e-mail and it suggest for losing weight and for the immune system to strengthen simply to drink warm water with 1 tablespoon of raw honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon 2 times a day.
I started using raw honey and cinnamon back in early December of 2009. My weight at that time was 201 pounds and I am 5 feet 2 inches tall so I was not able to fit into my clothes. I use to go to the gym 5 days a week when I was in my twenties but now I am 35 and I really do not care to go back to the gym. I have researched weight loss and the real effects of using gym equipment on your muscle tissue which was not good. Yes! I understand that people look good when they tone up from the gym so I am not knocking that if someone chooses to do so. The only thing I have changed when I started this was boiling my foods and taking the honey and cinnamon. I have been drinking the recommended 8 glasses of water a day before I started this process but yet I was still over weight.
I just started to drink the honey and cinnamon 30 minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach and right before I go to bed at night. So I did not change much of my eating habits. I did not eat to much fast food before I started, or what we call junk foods but yet I was still over weight. I continue to cook my own meals and that's all I did. Drinking raw honey and cinnamon is like second nature to me now and today I weigh 180 pounds losing 21 pounds. I also notice that I have not been sick or sneezing like I normally do at this time of year and simply been in good health. Another thing I have notice my breath stays fresher throughout the day. Some of my friends said raw honey is expensive! and my responds were you spend more then $8.00 dollars on chips and cookies every couple of days. A 16 oz jar of raw honey last me 2 weeks and a 32 oz of raw honey last for a month taking it 2 times a day.
So if you don't buy the $2 dollar bag(s) of chips, $2 pack (s) of cookies and a 2 liter soda at least once of month you will have the $8.00 for a 16 oz or $12.99 for a 32 oz of raw honey. So once I explained it that way she had to think about it and said well you are right. I should not be eating junk food anyway. I am not dieting trying to loss weight but I decided to be healthy which is a way of life. So this is a natural and healthy way to loss weight with drinking raw honey in warm water and cinnamon.
