1. Not getting enough sleep
Sleep is the time when the body performs its functions to repair itself and rejuvenate. Not sleeping enough will show its havoc on a woman's appearance fast. A single sleepless night can readily show in one's face as dark undereye circles, dry and dull skin and worst breakouts.
2. Not drinking enough water
Water acts as a body cleanser and skin moisturizer. The amount of water intake one intakes determines how the skin looks. To obtain smooth and supple skin and clear out those pesky breakouts, water is definitely your ally. Drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day is not only best for your health but also for your appearance.
Smoking leads to dry and dull skin, not to mention darker lips. Many women who smoke seem to be mindless about the short term and long-term effects of smoking on how they look. The abuses often adds up through time. Besides, smoking also contributes to baldness. 7. Worrying too much unnecessarily
Worries, tensions and stress can definitely add years to a woman's appearance. If you can help it, maintain a happy disposition at all time. Sleeping with the face down is one habit women should avoid at all cost. Sleep on your back when you can. You should avoid causing to much pressure on your face from any angle. Try to sleep on your back or on your side.
10. Over-scrubbing the face
The skin on one's face is very thin and delicate compared to the other areas of the body. You should treat it gently and with care. When washing the face area, avoid applying to much pressure and rub only going to one direction -- upwards. The face should have a warning sign each time you face that mirror, some that goes 'Handle With Care.' Never subject it to continuous and unnecessary scrubbing to avoid the advance development of lines and crows feet.
