Sleep tight feel right!
I often used to think that sleeping a lot makes the body bulky and disrupts your entire day schedule. However I was amazed to find out its benefits.
If a person sleeps about 8 hours daily then he is totally fit and healthy person. As sleeping anything less than this increases the production of ghrelin, a hormone that initiates hunger, in the body. The consequence is that it makes you to eat more and you will automatically become fat. The fatter you are the harder it becomes for the heart to pump blood throughout the body and causes cardiac problems
It boosts up your memory. I have experienced this. For the exams I kept myself awake for the whole night and the next day, I wasn’t able to recall what I studied. Everything was intermingled and I had no idea what to write. Then I studied less for the next exam and slept a lot. I was at least able to answer what ever I studied and my body was fresh and my mind was clear.
It strengthens our immune system. During our sleep melatonin, a cancer fighting hormone is produced. Its an antioxidant. So those who sleep less will have less amount of melatonin making them more vulnerable for cancer. It is also proved with research that those people who sleep more has more disease- fighting cells in their body.
The most interesting one is that it increases one’s life. According to my doctor if I take a sleep of 12 hours ( a very difficult thing) I would live longer. Apart from this my skin will never deteriorate and I will not have wrinkles or white hairs till 50. That’s amazing.
By looking at these untold benefits and with the advice of my doctor I have started sleeping about 10 hours daily. I think you too will look forward to it.
