The much-publicized entrapment by the FBI of Kosher Nostra involving five Sephardic rabbis of Orthodox Syrian Jewish community in Brooklyn and New Jersey (August 5^th, 2009) sent shockwaves among the religious communities. They were accused of selling kidneys and laundering money through fake charities.
