The Magic of Drinking Tea!
The Benefits of Drinking Tea
Do you want to live longer?
Do you want to lose weight?
Do you want to steer clear of heart attacks and strokes?
Then have a cup of tea today and sulk in its "herbal" flavor! Enjoy tea and toast a cup with your family and friends to longevity and living a healthier life. This "wonder drug" is jam-packed with so many antioxidants that it's created a buzz around the world simply too difficult to ignore!
The power of tea and its antioxidants are phenomenal. Studies have found that tea can help boost your immune system, boost your memory, and prevent diseases of the human body such as cancer, heart disease, degeneration of the brain, etc. It’s nothing new why Chinese people live such a long-lasting life with a memory that can answer every question correctly on that television quiz show “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?” They drink green tea everyday! I have been drinking green tea since the summer of 2007 and I’ve come to find that it boosts’ my immune system, my memory is sharp each morning until I rarely get writer’s block about 5 p.m., and I just feel so healthy. I haven’t gotten the flu or the common cold for about 5 years now, my energy levels are high, I don’t feel sluggish, fatigued or lethargic, and at 30 years old, I feel great!
Tea also helps you lose weight because drinking 3 or 4 cups each day makes you feel full. So put tea in your weight loss program, step on that weight scale in the bathroom, and watch that huge number diminish to your ideal weight. I’ll eat out maybe 4 or 5 nights a week and I haven’t gained 20 pounds over my ideal weight which is 160. Could it be tea or just good metabolism genes? I personally think its the power and magic of tea that keeps my weight in check.
Now the studies about tea and how it can prevent diseases of the human body are fictitious and should not be heavily relied upon for example as a way to stop cancer. Drinking tea everyday doesn’t cure cancer, it might help in its prevention, but it doesn’t mean that cancer won’t have its opportunity to progress from a stage 1 to a stage 4 disease. I believe it’s all in your genes; if you’re born with good genes, you have no family history of cancer, dementia, memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, heart attack, stroke, etc., then it’s a good chance you’ll live a long and healthy life. My dad’s mother suffers from Alzheimer’s today and I am not looking forward to living like that when I’m 85 years old. At 85, I want to have a healthy functioning brain and I hope drinking green tea everyday will help me achieve that. I don’t want to end up in a nursing home with a brain that functions like a vegetable.
Enjoy a cup or several cups of tea today! With so many different flavors of tea to choose from such as green tea, black tea, white tea, jasmine tea, and peppermint tea, there has to be one type of tea for your taste buds.
If its your first time, you might not enjoy its bitter and bizarre taste but it might keep your brain functioning properly and healthy the next time you visit your doctor for that yearly checkup.
