Today's milks come from a different variety of sources.As you know, cow milk presents a number of problems : bacterial contamination which is caused by inadequate pasteurization, exposure to a big number of agricultural chemicals, as well as lactose intolerance which causes digestive difficulties. This is kinda the reason why we have so many different alternatives. The Soyfoods Association of North America said that sales of Soy Milk went from about $832 million in 2005 to $1.5 billion in 2007.Really, you should drink your milk, but it's so comforting to know that cow's milk isn't your only option.

Recipe for a Blueberry Almond Yogurt Smoothie - serving 2

Take the ingredients as listed below and blend them to your perfection.

2 cups plain yogurt

2 tbsp soy protein powder

2 cups of low fat almond milk

2 cups of blueberries

1 cup of mango, frozen or fresh

2 cups of water

3 tbsp of cocnut butter flax oil ( to taste)

4 ice cubes
