What is "The Zone" in a nut shell?
The book popularizing the diet was first written by Barry Sears PhD in 1995. He has since created a whole collection of books, meal plans and even several meal delivery systems have adopted the concept. The Zone Weight Loss Diet Plan is allot more than just a way to lose fat and get skinny. This diet is a complete method for long term health, physical attractiveness and mental clarity.
Just imagine how you will feel when your health is better, your focus, your stress is reduced and you have more energy, not to mention being sexier than ever. Would your life be different?
Within days of changing your eating habits to the zone, weight loss will came naturally without the need of extra effort. You will feel extra energy within the week, which will reduce your stress level significantly. Your weight loss progress will continue until you reach your body's ideal "healthy" weight.
This is the diet in a "nut shell"
All you have to do is Eat:
- less pasta, grains, starches, and breads.
- every 2-3 hours either a snack or meal.
- meat that fits in your hand's palm, no bigger.
- in the first hour after you wake up.
- at least 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.
- fruits and green vegetables every day
Please assess your hunger before you eat, the best time to eat is before hunger sets in. Also, ensure that at least 2/3's of your plate is full of fruits and vegetables. Exercise should be done at least 3 times a week if not daily. Never forget to consume lots and lots of water. Water it vital to your overall health and well being.

The first Zone book is called "too complicated"
What most people do not realize, is that when the book "The Zone", first came out it was not written for the general public. Remember this was a PhD and he was addressing the medical community with his research on the zone weight loss discovery. His intentions were not to create a world wide buzz, and an new diet marketing niche.
