How to Cleanse Crystals

It is a good idea to cleanse your crystals from time to time to remove any build up of energies. There are a number of ways to do this. The easiest ones are to put under running water and intend that any unwanted energies be washed away to the earth and transmuted into more positive ones or leave in direct sunlight for a few hours. Another option is to wash them in sea salt water - 1 tablespoon of sea salt to 1 litre of water. After washing leave them outside on the earth and allow all the elements to cleanse them. The method I often use to cleanse crystals is to put them outside on the night of a full moon. I place them on the earth in my front garden and am always pleased when I go to retrieve them that they are still there.
