Unbelievable Medical Conditions:

Have you heard of Allergic to technology? I was not aware myself, till I read the article in the papers. It is about the people with unbelievable medical conditions. Skip reading this hub, if you are already aware of these uncomfortable and rare diseases. 39 year old Debbie Bird is so sensitive to the Electromagnetic Field (EMF) or ‘smog’ created by computers, mobile phones, microwave ovens and some cars, that she develops a painful skin rash and her eyelids swell to three times their size if she goes near them. She has shifted her home into EMF (AM)- free zone. The paper has quoted Mrs. Bird saying, “ My day–to-day life has been seriously affected by EMF.

Water Allergic: Teenager Ashleigh Morris can’t go swimming, soak in hot bath or enjoy a shower after a stressful day’s work because she is allergic to water! Ashleigh from Australia, suffers from a rare skin disorder called Aquagenic Urticaria, only a handful cases are documented worldwide!

Unable to explain the yet another rare case by the doctors, 17 years old Natalie Cooper falls sick almost eating anything. She eats only Tic Tacs and gets the rest of her sustenance from a specially formulated feed-through tube, the press reports.

Hyperthymestic Syndrome: In a recent study in Neurocase, UCI researchers Larry Cahill and Elizabeth Parker have been studying the extraordinary case of a person who has ‘non-stop, uncontrollable and automatic’ memory of her personal history and countless public events. She usually provides elaborate, verifiable details about what happened to her that day and if there were any significant news events on topics that interested her!

Hiccupping every two seconds, and sometimes during the sleep worries Sands aged 24. According to Sands, The problem stems from an acid reflux condition caused by a damaged valve in his stomach. If the acid levels are severe, a keyhole surgery is necessary to wrap the valve tight by grabbing a part of his stomach! Mr. Sands, who is a backing singer in the group ‘Ebullient’, said the condition has hampered his career.

Hope there are alternate medicines to cure them all.

‘Health is Wealth.’ How true it is.

Hey Aquagenic Urticaria is real. i have it and it sucks really bad. but its not as bad as it sounds here. You can still go swimming and shower and stuff but you break out in hives and it itchs prety bad. sometimes it stings when the water is too warm though. My doctor has no idea how to treat it so i just take allergy medications and it helps a little. So i know what shes going through
