A Good Day.

August 13th, Thursday 2009. Day 12. I walked 3 miles and consumed 3200 Calories. I worked 6 hours in the spice and herb gardens and read the second (2nd) chapter of Dr. Phil's book " The Ultimate Weight Solution"

This chapter is titled "Get-Real Expectations and Goals". It is 19 pages. It deals with realistic expectations, being patient, and setting goals. But the most powerful sections were the requests to write out your goals. I calculated the date I would reach 220 lbs. The date is May 3rd 2011. The rate of weight loss was one pound a week for 92 weeks. I felt empowered and confident by doing this.
