Stress and weight loss.

August 11th, Tuesday 2009. Day 10 (ten). Finances have really been a problem. Monetary streams continue to fluctuate. I find my days consumed with the search for new streams. Today I walked one mile. I weeded and mowed the children's play park and the white garden. I consumed 2800 Calories.

Dr. Phil's book, The Ultimate Weight Solution, discusses stress in chapter 12. Chapter 12 is titled " Weight is managed, not cured". He has the chapter divided into six (6) danger zones. (1) The danger zone of disappointment. (2) The danger zone of fixed fat beliefs. (3) The danger zone of relaxed effort. (4) The danger zone of crisis. (5) The danger zone of reward and punishment. (6) The danger zone of isolation.

"The danger zone of crisis" is where Dr. Phil discusses stress. In this section he wants you recognize you are in a crisis and to cope in an affirmative manner with the skills and tools you learn in his book. He does want you to let your weight management slide off the radar. He wants you use the crisis to help your "development".

Do not give up. Use stress and crises to evolve into a new being. Remember you need a support group. Join Obesity Anonymous in your local. Start a group if you do not have a group.
