What do you want out of life?

What Do You Want Out Of Life?

What do you want out of life? Where do you want to invest your time? What are the things that are truly important to you? What do you want your future to look like? What will help you to grow in your charecter or skill or spirituality?

As you begin the New Year 2012 you will want to invest your time in reaching your priorities & goals. As mature adults you are each responsible for your life & as you make your daily choices of how to spend your time, you are determining your future, your fruitfulness & your success. It all comes down to what you want out of your life & then being disciplined enough to pursue your goals.

If you are vigilant about preserving your time, you will have enough time for the most important things in your life & the sacrifices you make will be repaid many times over in the happiness & fulfillment that comes from reaching your goals & finding success.

Entertainment, media & internet are enjoyable & have a place in balanced life. But you need to see that they do not become time-wasters or distractions from your goals. They should be used in moderation or times of relaxation & recreation. You must discern if what you are spending your time on is benefiting you or is it stealing your time from priorities that are actually more important to you.

You must be wise enough to take in what is beneficial & walk away from those things that harm your spirits so that you can stand up to the storms of life & protect yourself from time-wasters, false or distorted principles that can sometimes be mingled with some truth or excesses that cause you to lose track of the true standards & get off balance in your attitude & perspectives. It all depends on your committment to guarding your time & the discipline that you put into reaching your goals.

People are different & have different needs & everyone has different areas of strength. Self- discipline is not a strength that all have. Each individual should be accountable & mature about their choices. Successful people are disciplined in their decisions & activities. They are judicious & don't waste time. Life is all about balance. You must use the best of your time, focus & energy towards reaching your most important goals even if it means sacrificing something you would like to do, to accomplish something you need to do.

It is also necessary to stay physically fit & healthy so eat the right foods, exercise, take the time to admire God's beautiful creation, get good rest & avoid burn outs. Every morning wake up with a smile & make the choice to give the day your very best shot. Take life one day at a time, one hour at a time. Drop a little sunshine into the lives of all those you come in contact with by simple acts of love, affection & care. Stay simple, stay loving, stay humble. Be kind & understanding for these are great jewels. Always be happy & content & thankful to God for the sunshine, the flowers, the trees, the birds , the animals, the seas, the hills, the valleys, the waterfalls, His loving mercies & care.

Life is full of changes. Stay positive & never resist changes. Greet changes eagerly for they will keep you young, inspired, challenged, growing, desperate & happy.
