Inner Peace can be achieved in Chaotic Times

We often hear people talking about what the world needs is peace. Who would not wish to live in a peaceful world? Would it not be wonderful to live in a place, where our children could exist without war, strife and poverty? Daily we our submerged with wishes on having happiness, love and prosperity. It does sound superb. In this sparkle of Utopia, life becomes a hum; were everyone is in total synch with everyone. We are all elated, and happiness is a given. The reality though is far from this. World peace escapes us daily, and peace of mind resembles an illusion. We though can have peace of mind. It is obtainable. With enough people living in peace, perhaps it will spread through our world

A Quest for World Peace

World peace is construed in peoples’ mind through their terms. This is the very problem we are faced with in creating peace. Our terms are based on our own beliefs, which are not universal. Our beliefs come label with religion, political and social allegiance. We do not have a universal truth, but many. How many of you would give up your allegiance for the sake of world peace? It is because of our beliefs of truths, which tend to be subjugated with biases of a group, we refuse to become open to others points of view. Our tolerance for another’s belief system being different the majority of time is nil. The need to be right is always fore front, which will always diminish any possibility of a world peace.

A Quest for Inner Peace

We are all prejudice towards someone or something. In our quest to find inner peace, we need to acknowledge that our prejudices only aid to keep aflame an invalid point. What type of prejudices am I referring to here? These are a few:

You cannot be happy if you are rich. You cannot be happy if you are poor. The rich have no consciousness or soul. The rich or poor will rob you blind. Material possessions are design to show one’s importance. The lack of material possessions are design to show one’s connection to God. A rich person cannot be spiritual. Only a poor person can understand spirituality. There is one God that is the true God. Your God is a fake one. My religion is the only religion to offer heaven. Your religion is anti-others. African Americans are very poor and don’t care about themselves. White people will keep you a slave. Wall Street people are evil. People against Wall Street are evil.

I think you can see the gest of what I am saying. People tend to divide themselves into categories of good and bad. With knowing this, you make ask ‘How can there be peace if this is the case’? We can discover inner peace, but we will have to try new methods. Our current techniques are toxic.

Can we learn to view the world as one? Can we understand within this one there are many paths? Can we accept that what might work for me, might not for another? If we are all one, than we harm ourselves each time we harm another. When we let go of trying to create one belief system, we embrace all belief systems. This though for many will not be approachable. There are those though who are learning too shift their consciousness. They are using new methods to usher in inner peace.

What would happen if those who are seeking and finding inner peace begin to bridge out to others who are doing the same? If a bridge could be figuratively built, how would our world emerge? This bridge is being built, and it has been an ongoing process. The evolution of humankind consciousness is this bridge. It has now filter into the science community. It has been in the metaphysical community longer, but now Quantum Physics and Metaphysics is meeting in the center. This in itself was miraculous. This bridge has infiltrated our social media, FaceBook, Twitter, Penterest and You Tube. You can discover quotes and interviews through these services. Our bookstores are a popular location in finding books from such authors as; Bruce Lipton, Dr. Fred Wolfe and Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor. These are all scientist, who are building the bridge. There are many more scientist, as well as lay people. People are building the bridge in many different ways, as we come together to share our inner peace.

Walking the Inner Peace Path.

This is not an easy path, especially at first. We must walk daily with purpose of peace. You will come across people who will have difficulty in accepting your beliefs. That is just half the battle, for you too will find it difficult in accepting others’ beliefs. I still wrestle with this daily. There are things happening in the USA that bother me, and at times I want to scream. Than I have to remind myself, there is a polarity in our world. There always will be. I though get to choose where to focus my attention. In acquiring this mind set, I have to ask myself, what can I do to honor the world in a peaceful way? There is plenty of material out there to educate myself, and I am always able to have a choice in how I wish to contribute to the peace –path-bridge.

Walking this path does not make me a saint. I am far from sainthood, though I am a perfect soul. I still have to do the work on healing certain areas in my life. I still need to keep tabs on the negative-shadow side of me. I still at times want to get into verbal arguments over someone’s beliefs. It is hard to not, when the other person desires you to play the game. In the end though, I do know I am the only one responsible for my actions. I do not have the luxury of blaming anyone for what I say or do.

I Do Not See World Peace, but I am Open to It

I cannot see world peace, yet I also am aware that my brain cannot recognize something that it has not experience. Can enough of us make a big dent in our earth home, so we can live in harmony? I have no answer for this, but I am willing to give a hand in trying. I know it has to come from within, and who knows what those who discover inner peace can do? Miracles do happen!!! As I have been traveling this road, my life resembles one miracle after another. Inner peace actually might equate to utopia! Utopia though is not how we saw it prior to inner peace. It is a total different entity. May you discover the inner peace within you!
