Hi Cindy
Use Bio-oil. Not sure where you are from but its a very popular product in the UK.
Good luck...
I have found that if you massage and knead them every day until they become red that they slowly become smaller and smaller. You can also use a Chinese tincture called "Zieng Gu Shui" which is like tiger balm only stronger.
The best, and inexpensive is using coconut oil, and shea butter.
Go to a drug store and look for scar pads. They are silicon and are worn on the area for a long time. The silicon can flatten and break down some scar tissue. This is the technique used by doctors.
If it is a very large scar such as from a major burn ask a doctor about compression garments for scars.
Also, massage the scar a lot. If it is raised and bumpy the massage will break down collagen and help it appear more like typical, healthy tissue.
Hi Cindy, not sure if your country carries this brand called Mederma - it fades away scar tissue, including keloids.
Try Hemp Healing Cream - a natural product, easy to use and very effective.
Hi Cindy,
I trust you're well!
I'm not sure if your issue has been addressed, but just in case.
Try
Internally:
Vit E 65mg or 100iu, Hyaluronic acid, Collagen Type I & III 6g & Vit C 60mg supplements daily.
Externally:
Flexitol Naturals - Skin Nourishing Oil. Rodial & Bliss also have stretch mark/scar treatments but they cost a lot more.
Basically you need to keep the area as moist as possible as often as possible and exfoliate regularly, to keep regeneration constant.
Best regards,
Gee!
heard Bio oil was helpful, but also it is a good idea to look at the different natural treatments to be sure that they contain protein and other nutrients such as Vitamin A, E and C and also many other useful nutrients like zinc
I have heard was only reading something about an essential oil. It is supposed to be brilliant for scarring. If I can recall where I was when I read it - I will pop it in.
Buy vitamin E capsules and break them with a needle or pin and spread the thick liquid over any scarring. Mederma also works pretty well. If the scar tissue goes deep and it's in a part of your body that can withstand it, cortisone shots break up scar tissue.
Hi there, I actually mentioned you, not by name, in a hub I just wrote called, Rebuild your body and in it gave a personal example from my life.
The two essential nutrients you need to consume, in great quantity, I might add are sulfur and vitamin C many other good things too, but those two are critical
Go buy yourself a small coffee grinder and start adding fresh ground Flax seed to every meal, that's where you get the sulfur, (omega 3) too. Not the oil, or store bought meal.
Molasses is also very good for this. Throw out your sugar and use it for everything you bake. Also a teaspoon full in water everyday. Get the C from fermented green vegetables, (peppers, cabbage) Guavas and citrus fruits have most. You can take pills, but you said natural, and pills ain't. If you don't know how to ferment, raw is good, but cook the cabbage for better digestion.
That's pretty much how I did it. My scar was half an inch wide and two inches long and took 2 to 3 years to completely disappear.
Good Luck

Hi Cindywine,
The important factor is to clear the root cause. Remember to wash your face twice daily with mild soap and warm water. Do not scrup or scratch your face. Apply light moisturiser or distill water steam to your face just before bed. Avoid oily and junk food. Consume healthy food and add more vegetables and fruits. Finally, avoid stress.
You do not have to spend tons of money to buy over-the-counter products to clear your skin.
