Here are some remedies which I have tried and have really help me!
Put one full cup of water in a mug. Pour into a pot and then peel off 4 cloves of garlic and add to the pot. Bring to boil for about four minutes and then allow cooling (cool enough to drink). Drain into a mug and drink like normal tea.
I usually have this asthma remedy in the morning and evening (when I can remember to do it). It helps reduce any asthma flare ups during the day. You can add or reduce the amount of cloves to suite how strong or mild you want it to be.
This remedy is also very effective if you have a cold.
This is one of my favorite asthma home remedies.
This remedy has exactly the same process as the one above, only this time you use ginger instead of garlic. Wash about the size of a palm of ginger and then cut into small pieces (cut according to your preferences).
Put into a pot with water and bring to boil, leave to get cool then drink like normal tea.
Again, this home remedy for asthma is very useful for cold as well. Colds can cause asthma flare ups and by eliminating colds could also help preventing asthma flare ups. Either way, it has helped me with my asthma.I was also told that the two can be boiled together and should have effective results.
