Besides promising all of my tomorrows to the same man?
I rolled into El Passo in georgia overdrive. Sped through Atlanta with a trailer hauling 70,000 pounds ( God must have been with me)
Took the curves of Omaha like they were my backyard
Climbed fraggel rock just to lay in the sunshine.
Beat up a neighbor boy for stealing my Grandpa's grapes.
Shot a bobcat for being a wild animal and attacking my children's dog.
Walked out of a restraunt that I really wanted to eat in, because of some silly forgotten issue.
I rode my motorcycle on the yellow line between two tractor trailer rigs.
Once, I challenged a brother, far bigger than me with physical combat.
There was a boss, who I once told, " I am NOT going to do this"....................he did not fire me.
I sold my house and 5 acres of land for 2 motorcyles and an RV.
There was the time in a Kansas City truck stop, that I told my hubby, who I was arguing with.......
" I have blue eyes and a set of 34 D's, No, I am not walking home"............stupid me....
Then, there was the time, long ago, that I faced off with my own beloved Dad, and stated,.........." I am grown".........foolish, foolish me..........I was too much like him to backdown, when that would have been the very best thing that I could have done.
Then, there was the love that I let go.............
