    The only effective way to burn calories is to increase your metabolism!

    There are certain ways to do this.  The most popular would probably be exercise.  A second and maybe less known way to boost metabolism is to do it via the foods you eat.  Eating spicy foods and drinking things like green tea will raise your metabolism for a short period of time allowing you to burn calories faster.

    *Note: There is no substitute for eating a balanced diet and exercise when it comes to getting in shape!

    Drink ice water. Your body provides heat (calories) to melt the ice and warm it to your body temperature. It's simple conservation of energy.

    Just follow it..
    Its the best way to easily loose lot of calories fast and quick and without any need of costly exercise equipment or very hard exercise.

    Technique is  : BRISK Walking
    ------------------------------

    - Wear comfortable shoes & exercise gear
    - Move to some appropriate walking platform spacious...(can try this on a running machine too, id u want)
    - Start walking first for say 5min for a warm up and then start walking briskly as fast as you can, without any runing.
    - You dont have to run ....just walk but as fast as you can..thats it.
    - Do this daily for some 20-30 minutes or so and depending upon your requirement to lose calories...you can continue it as long as you can

    Believe me ...Brisk walking is the best and easiest way to burn calories fast and cheap
    being a doctor , i advise this to many depending upon their requirement and their eligibility to o this ( Heart patients, orthopedic pts, etc should not )

    Personally, I write calories on a piece of paper and you guessed it I burn Them!  Hey works for me...

    Stress burns calories.  You really can burn calories just sitting around but you have to be majorly stressed out to do it.  Of course you have to combine that with eating less.

    Free non-timeconsuming way to burn them right, just do some leg exercises, and a little yoga in your house 6 minutes a day, bend a bit different directions, stretch, dance in your living room, suck in your tummy and hold it in for 10 seconds a few times a day.  Stuff like that will help more than you would guess.

    The quick answer is EXERCISE!

    However you need to do some form of exercise daily but you should also consider dropping one of the foods that are making you gain weight to make it easy for you to burn more calories.

    dont just eat and take rest
    work whole heatedly more than you eat

    change your exercise routine.  Your body gets used to doing the same thing over and over, and actually gets quite efficient at it.  Add some new moves, or a faster walk, or walk up a hill, or climb stairs quicker, anything to raise your heart rate, even for just a few minutes.  It will have a lasting effect and burn more calories.

    Exercise. When a person exercises, calories are expended. Some for physical effort required to do the work, and some are burned away when the body temperature rise.When the body heats up by doing exercise, some calories are burn due to added heat production. Some study showed submersing a person in very cold water for 20 minutes burn  as many calories as 20 minutes of moderate exercise.

    practice "eat-stop-eat"....means break your meal into few "mini meals"....it is quite effective......take small amount of food for each "mini meal" and food calories that you take can easily burn throughout your daily exercises.....This is a healthy dieting way...

    Oh, yea it's very simple, you must increase your lean muscle body mass by doing some sort of resistance training...and you must eat enough foods that will support your metabolism.

    *You end you burning fat even when you're asleep:-)

    There are a few simple things that can be done to help burn calories such as; stand instead of sit at work, fidget when talking on the phone, park farther away when going to the store, take the stairs instead of the elevator, and play with your kids.

    It would be easier to know what your metabolism is (many calculators online can give you a rough estimate).

    Then, just eat less. 500 cals less each day = 1 pound lost per week. How simple is that?
