That the outside world is in control of your life- the reality is you control your life, your thoughts control your actions, your habits are merely soft coded things you do a lot but even those can be changed.
Love is the greatest misunderstanding of life.
You can't enplane it. You can't relate it. Only feel it and share it.
It takes two to tango when often times it takes 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 to tango.
Misunderstanding between different races and cultures. This is the greatest misunderstanding because it concerns the differences between people and their ways of living and thinking and it still provokes racial prejudice today.
Where we came from. Where we are going. How to get there.
Is our failure to understand we are all connected. Easier said than done. Easier to believe than to achieve. Easier to debate than relate.
We get the picture. We know we are one. Maybe we need to stop asking why.
Everything is more than we can conceive. Accept we will never know the answer.
Hmmm...
That the Earth is here for man's sake! When it is the other way around really! We are only tenants a very short period of time seen from the Earth's perspective and we are the worst kind of tenants!
The greatest misunderstanding is: That if you play by the rules and work hard you will succeed in life...WHEN..actually you know the rules but occassionally step outside the box..and Work smart NOT hard...( weigh pros and cons ) before making your decisions and choices and always remember to be apathetic and empathetic to all...weedbychoice..kjforce
There's lots of them. One is that nice guys finish last. I am tired of hearing my girlfriends complain that there are no good men out there. If people would just be who they are (if you are nice) and stop pretending to be the dirt bag character you saw in a movie picking up chicks or Charlie Sheen, the dating world would be a happier place, and Women (not taking you off the hook) need to stop looking for a bad boy, and get upset when they have bad boy behaviour (im just saying )
The greatest misunderstanding in life is that your hard work, skills, and achievements will in any way be recognized or rewarded. People do not get what they deserve, for good or ill, as such equilibrium is in the realm of fiction.
Our greatest misunderstanding is that we are all different. We are not. We may carry different traits, customs, and ideas, but upon closer inspection, we are all the same. Our differences are merely gifts given to us to share with each other.
The differnt misunderstanding in life is the different races and religions and we people forget that there is ONLY ONE RACE ON MOTHER EARTH AND THAT IS THE RACE OF MANKIND.
ONCE WE UNDERSTAND THIS THEN THERE WON'T BE ANY RACIAL DISCRIMINATION , WAR AND UNFAIRNESS.
The day when i left Microsoft. Recession forced me to left my job.
That happiness comes to us from external forces. It comes from within, and so many people spend their entire lives in the pursuit of happiness when we already have it within us. We just need to recognize it and accept it.
The greatest misunderstanding in life is the answers to the questions: "Who is God?" and "Who am I?" I believe the way one answers the first, determines the way one answers the second. People have a million ideas about who/what God is or is not. People are also given so many different ideas about what it means to be a man, a woman, or a person of a certain ethnicity, religion, or race. People are told who they "should" be and society tries to define what is "normal/accepted" or right or not. If a person can truly answer these two questions, I think the rest of life makes a lot more sense!
What an insightful group of answers. To me, the greatest misunderstanding in life is that we are physical beings. We are all spiritual being living a physical existence. Our bodies are composed of energy, mostly space. Energy cannot be destroyed; therefore, our spirits are eternal and connected to all other energy. If we could all grasp this, our perception of life, death, karma, cause and effect, "problems," and suffering would all be very different. We would all live more spiritually; that is, connected to our spirit and our eternal being. Compassion would abound.

This is not whether or not God exists or your religion is correct, because all that matters when it comes to religion is your opinion and how you cope with life. Every time I go to the forums there is a new religion thread and to me it just becomes more and more pointless. I got involved in those...
