That is a very interesting question. I guess part of it would depend on what "average" health is. As someone who has had cancer, and almost died from it, and had to turn to a strict nutritional regimen to survive, I've experienced the gamut. (I wrote a book about my experience, more info in my profile).
Though I have much better health since then (11 years ago), I do still suffer from chronic lower back issues and bronchitis (get it once or twice a year).
Finally, I'd have to say, that although I do not fear death (because of my Christian faith), I would rather live 30 years in average health.
