Find CERTAINTY. You can't always be in control of what happens in your life, but you are ALWAYS in control of how you feel and how you fulfill your needs. So when all seems unstable, seek certainty! (in positive ways)

Find a balance........you can't control it, but you can control the outcome. The past week, it seems as if everything, has been thrown at me all at one time. One....have a plan on how to handle or cope with each situation individually. In other words, break it down. Find support.......it may not always be the support you're hoping.....it can come from unlikely sources.
I've had to take all those situations thrown at me and break each one down. I looked for the best solution to each of those. My life revolves around making sure each of my family members are taken care of properly. Once each situation is solved or a plan put in place, is to take care of myself. Find my support.....some of my support is groups on FB which help me to talk about the crisis within my life with others with similar situations. You will be amazed how many will offer different viewpoints in which to handle issues which really help.Another way for me to cope is to write about it....sometimes publicly as on HubPages and other times....in just an electronic journal.

Your reaction is the only thing you have to cope with and you choose how you want to re-act.   We do however re-act automatically, if we can be aware of how we re-act then you can control what is going on.   I personally have gone through some tough times over the last 2 years and found that EFT helped me a great deal.  I wrote a Hub about EFT if that helps you.   Hang in there are think positive as much as you can.

You have to shift your focus - which can be difficult when it seems things are going awry.  I try to remember that when one door closes it means another one is about to open.  Often if you look back at the most trying times in your life you'll discover that was when you were growing the most.  Sometimes a "loss" now leads to new paths you would not have discovered otherwise.

What we focus on we tend to get more of - so in challenging times it is even more important to count your blessings and focus on the "bigger picture".  All things happen for a reason.  Choose to take the best from it and move forward with a more empowered perspective.

I can only speak for myself, but since you asked...The key word in your question is - everything. It took me a while, but I learned that when I hear superlatives in my self-talk I know there is something amiss in my thinking. When I hear them I know I am generalizing and that can be very dangerous whether it's positive or negative. It's at that point in time I remind myself that there is balance in life, a yin and yang.
Granted, it isn't always easy when I'm mired in the muck of life's circumstances, but knowing that "This too shall pass," often pulls me through to the next life event.

One other point that may help; I also learned that really trying to remember the good events in life, the ones that made my heart sing and helped me feel the real joy of living, the ones that gave my heart something to beat for had a tendency to bring my vibrational levels back into harmony with my surroundings!
    Hope this helps!
Great idea for a hub, eh?
    Thanks AmyMarie and happy coping!

There are  some things we have control over and some we don't if you have lost your way over things you can control then you need to get back on track.  Sometimes life throws ya curve balls so that you can learn and become a better person.  I dont think that anyone has had a time in their life that hasnt been all that great but you have to make the best of it.

I read inspirational quotes.  I love quotes.  I also follow inspirational sites on my twitter and positive people.  When I have a bad day--there's someone or something on there who says just the right thing.  It's awsome!! you can also read an inspiring hub.  Don't forget sometimes just letting it out--a good cry helps, or a good workout!!

Play with life, laugh with life, dance lightly with life, and smile at the riddles of life, knowing that life’s only true lessons are writ small in the margin.

You used the word 'seems', this means that not everything is actually going wrong, it just seems that way. So focus on the stuff that isn't going wrong and let the positives override

Only through the Lord do I find strength.  I could not do it on my own.  He comforts me and helps me through the toughest situations.  Psalms 107:1  "O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good: His mercy endureth forever."  Psalms 84:11  "For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly."  Romans 8:28  "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose."
