Chewing Nasturtium leaves helps a sore throat and it is an natural antibiotic. Sage tea will also help. A couple of drops of Eucalyptus oil in a bowl of hot, steaming water, and breathing in the steam with a towel over the head will help for the nasal congestion. A drop or two on your pillow at night will also help! A strong Tiger or Dragon Balm (from the Eastern Countries) dabbed on sparingly next to the nose works magically, just don't touch anywhere else that's sensitive for a couple of minutes, it stings!
Congestion of the nasal passages is an indication of too many toxins in the body, so a good few evenings of 20 minute hot detox baths, using Epsom Salts, rock salt or mustard bath salts will do wonders. Even a detox foot bath every evening will help. This will draw out the toxins through the skin by sweating. Taking Milk Thistle and Dandelion internally to assist the liver to detox and regenerate and will sort out the cause over a long term!
Eliminating milk products for a while, especially processed ones like cheese will remove this mucous forming source until the initial cause is sorted.
