If I am driving, I stop and get a cup of coffee and walk around a bit., especially on long drives.Chew some gum and listen to the car radio, and if need be, pull over at a rest stop and take a short nap. You can be surprised as to how this will help you on a long trip. i would avoid some of the pills that are supposed to keep you awake. These can be very harmful in the long run to your health. Splashing some water in your face in a rest stop may help also.
