Liver detox is important because the liver processes all of the food, all toxins, and all medications in the body. In today's chemical-filled world, the liver is quickly overwhelmed.
However, liver detox is not easy or simple. Often, it is not the first place to start. It is best to live a very clean, healthy diet for several months before beginning a liver detox. (For tips, see my Hub on "is there a right way to eat.")
Why? Because, otherwise, the toxins coming out of your liver have no way out of the body, and you could feel worse, instead of better.
