How Can You Get Rid Of Anxiety Without Medicine?
How can you get rid of anxiety without medicine?
Exercise. It causes continuous endorphin release which relieves the anxiety. Also eating a healthier diet and laying off the caffeine tends to reduce anxiety.
Through the constant monitoring and adjustment of your thoughts, you can eventually limit the anxiety and theoretically, wipe it out alltogether.
Thoughts were the catalyst to the anxiety symptoms, that usually start when we are too young to know that thinking and dwelling on problems actually causes anxiety.
Thoughts started it. Thoughts can end it.
It is a long process and doesn't happen overnight. You will still be faced with many of the anxiety attacks and other symptoms during the process, however, the more you stay in control and choose your thoughts, the better you will get.
Each time you feel anxiety, take note of the situation it arose in. Then go off and think about it, question it, and think back to when it may have started all those years ago. Understand it and respect it. Don't hate it. You started it. Unknowingly.
Once you understand it. Be patient and each time you are confronted by the situation that causes anxiety you will be ready, because you will have already analyzed and understood it.
When the anxiety comes, start choosing other thoughts and learn to respond instead of react. Never put yourself down for feeling that way, that makes it worse. Understand it and slowly change it, by thinking. If you feel anxiety coming, quickly take your mind off it by immediately thinking of something else or jumping into some kind of action, thereby giving the anxiety no room to surface. It becomes a habit and will replace the anxiety habit.
It will disappear, the more you stay in control.
Thoughts - Emotions - Symptoms. Remember that formula.
Exercise, music, art, being in the great outdoors, a vacation, coffee with friends, cleaning (menial labor plus organization gives a sense of control over one's environment), talk therapy (counseling), massage therapy, hydrotherapy/swimming, laughter, reading...
By implementing meditation in your life and get in thouch with yourself.
Even though you don't believe it at the moment it is not the outside surroundings that create this state at first, it comes from within.
Personal developement and finding your own path to the happy life you want. No medication can do that for you.(sometimes in some cases medicine is although necessary to get to a place where your own journey can start)
It is all in the state of mind.
All of these suggestions here are great and proven effective. If one can pinpoint the cause of the anxiety, he/she can learn to recognize its onset and can empower oneself to avoid or overcome it. My daughter used to go pale w/ anxiety at parties when kids would crowd around- even for her own B-day. We learned to put her in a higher chair to alleviate the claustrophobia, and it worked. Agoraphobia, on the other hand, might best be handled by having a friend or two grip each arm and walk or sit closely in an open area. Ask what's the worst that can happen? Introduce the fear and overcome it w/ baby steps. Some fears that are potentially life threatening need to be professionally treated.

It is said, that with faith we can move mountains. This got me to wondering and pondering on another angle of religion. Do we want and need Jesus so much that we manifest him into being? Most Christians will answer, "No, he was sent from God and not manifested out of our...

I struggle with Calvinism. When I meet Calvinists though, I can't help but see Jesus!I struggle with Calvinism because of the predetermination. I believe in free will BUT Calvinism believes God has chosen whom he has chosen out of grace. But that leads to my question, where is the...
