Do you think gargling salt water or raw apple cider vinegar is more effective for fighting sickness?

Salt solutions are good for a lot of things. Epsom Salts (magnesium sulfate) is something I have used both as a nurse and for myself. Salt water gargles are very effective for sore throats.

I prefer vinegar for its effectiveness. I gargle at the sign of a scratchy or sore throat, sometimes when I'm just feeling a bit "under the weather" as a preventative. My 12 year old daughter is convinced of its effectiveness & takes on her own

The Neti pot is a wonderful invention for those of us who suffer repeated upper respiratory problems. I always hated nasal irrigation until I discovered this wonderful product!
