Does your long commute to work keep you from going to the gym to work out?
Is your commute to work keeping you from staying fit?
It did, but I have a new job now only 25 minutes to work. I used to commute 55 minutes each way to work, and my entire life suffered. Not only was I not going to the gym, but I was so angry by the time I got home it was terrible. On the other hand working out will help you relieve a lot of stress so you have to try and get your workout in.
It could, but I have found it wise to invest in a few dumb-bells to keep at home, so I can lift enough to maintain muscle. I used to have a rowing machine, barbells, and a weight bench at home, so I can get in a workout any time I like. I've found this is the best way to stay fit on my schedule, with no time wasted commuting to a gym -- although they have some great equipment.
You can usually pick up weights and benches, etc., at garage sales for cheap, after the owners decided they really weren't using them very much. It's a good investment in your health, however you find time to work out.
It does but I take out time to workout at home few dumb-bells and you are fit to workout your whole body, I just give 15 mins in morning and 20-30 mins in evening to work out my body and I make sure to do physical activities while at work so that don't make me get fat on my body and keeps me fit as well
sure, i used to go to gym after my work in evenings by 7pm,and i work out there for around 1hr.
It takes 2 minutes to do around 100 pushups. It takes 1-2 minutes to do 2 sets of 9 repititions on the bench press or other machines/ free weights. It is also possible to wear a weight vest while you are commuting. Do 10 pushups before every meal. The gym is not needed to exercise, Or you could go to the gym early in the morning before work. If someone is really dedicated they will exercise regardless of their commute, if you have time to be on Hub Pages, and/ or Social Media you have the time to exercise.
You make a good point, but a good majority of the time spent on Social Media is at work. It's difficult to incorporate exercise at work!
