A colleague at work says I could damage my knees because I have to put more effort into pedalling than someone on a hybrid or a road bike. Keen to know because I'm 24, need my knees for many years yet! Thanks.
You're 24, ride the crap out of that bike!!! Everything you do in life creates wear and tear on your joints. Of course things that shock your joints are worse for them, like jumping and running, but you have nothing to worry about. Have fun! You only live once! And buy the time we're older they will have bionic legs!
