Do you rely on substances for extra energy?
Some people use energy shots, some drink lots of coffee and Red Bull is extremely.popular. I use caffeine tablets for extra energy, and find that it helps md ADD, as well. Does anybody here use anything that works? Vitamins? Supplements? Certain foods? Bueller?
No, I don't rely on any substances for extra energy. I have one diet cherry Dr. Pepper that last from breakfast until about 3 in the afternoon, so the caffeine intake is pretty slight. I find that caffeine makes me really depressed.
At my age a good nap is kind of enticing for the extra energy...or just because it feels good!
no; I drink coffee, but not lots. it doesn't give me energy or make me alert, anyway.
wouldn't touch those energy drinks-- took a little sip of one years ago & it was awful- plus they haven't been on the market long enough to know the possible long-term effects of all the crud that's in them.
I don't like coffee, but I knew a guy that had a heart attack, partly from too many energy drinks. Scary stuff.
The vitamin for energy is B-6, the supplement is fish, or flax seed oil. Should not exceed 1000mg of B-6 a day. Recommended dosage is 250mg twice a day of B-6, and 1000-2000mg of Fish oil a day. The B vitamins may be taken in a complex formula. Natural fat will give you sustained energy.
I do drink an excessive amount of coffee. I don't consciously do it for energy, but at times it does seem to help with my alertness (and makes me less cranky).

Do you consume any type of energy drink to help you get through the day? Many people rely on energy drinks such as: 5 Hours Energy, Red Bull, Monster and many others. There is a more convenient source to get natural energy than using these artificial drinks.
