I am sorry. Any alcohol is too much when you are pregnant. What is it like when you have too much?? One drink goes into your child growing in your stomach. Whatever you ingest, it ingests. You should not drink at all, not even one when you are pregnant. Stick to fruit juice instead. Water and good healthy things.
As Wealthmadehealthy said any alcohol is too much while pregnant. Think of it this way you might make yourself feel good for a short time but you create a lifetime of problems for your future child. These problems can include:
* low birth weight
* small head circumference
* failure to thrive
* developmental delay
* organ dysfunction
* facial abnormalities, including smaller eye openings, flattened cheekbones, and indistinct philtrum (an underdeveloped groove between the nose and the upper lip)
* epilepsy
* poor coordination/fine motor skills
* poor socialization skills, such as difficulty building and maintaining friendships and relating to groups
* lack of imagination or curiosity
* learning difficulties, including poor memory, inability to understand concepts such as time and money, poor language comprehension, poor problem-solving skills
* behavioral problems, including hyperactivity, inability to concentrate, social withdrawal, stubbornness, impulsiveness, and anxiety

Okay, I will probably get rated down for this, but my opinion is a little different then the others list hear. Some cultures continue to drink alcohol as a normal part of their diet without negative results to their babies. However, the truth of it all comes down to the fact that we have no idea how much alcohol is too much for your baby. It could be that one drink is too much or three drinks or ten. But without really knowing it is safest to avoid alcohol.
Research done on the matter are usually with women who are known alcoholics drinking everyday and often more then two drinks a day. We know that causes a lot of issues with the baby and can lead to some serious handicaps. But we don't know when that line is crossed, because it is the health of your baby...
DON'T TAKE A RISK! It isn't worth it, even if it may be just fine. After all, if it isn't just fine....
Any alcohol is too much. There are some cultures that believe that drinking can help pregnancy, but the research also shows that those cultures tend to have higher rates of fetal alcohol syndrome than normal.
You have to remember that everything that enters your blood stream will make its way into the developing body of your baby. But unlike an adult, the baby doesn't have the capacity to filter and eliminate the alcohol and waste products. Instead it directly affects the development of the body.
Even small amounts can have an effect on your babies physical and mental development. Drink or get pregnant. Don't do both.
I wrote on this topic and the anti-climatic answer is no amount of alcohol is known to be safe...

Do you think doing too much for a guy in a relationship, turns him off?A friend told me that doing too much for a guy, his laundry, cooking, shopping, especially in a new relationship, can turn a guy off. She said the more he does for himself makes him feel better. Do you agree?

Just wondering what people think on this topic, I don't want to know how much you do it, just wondering if anyone thinks there is a standard or rule as to how much!I'm of the thinking that 3-4 times a week is acceptable.

How much botox is too much?Aside from facial paralysis, how can we, as a society, make a decision about the limit for a person's botox usage (for cosmetic purposes)?
