    Why should we take risks?

If taking risks defines and molds our character, why do we oftentimes become complacent and live lives of normalcy?

because we all get bound into every day routines and find it hard to break the routines to take risks!

Because some of our lives depend on providing for our family, there is no easy way out ~ when the bills keep raising, it makes it hard to take risks. We must all work hard to keep up.

Not taking risks is easier and safer. If all is going fine we may think it's better to let all lay as is. Taking risks, however, is a way to get achieve great goals and motivates us!

Inertia and death are the natural motivations of the human species after birth.  As Mark Twain once said, "The only ones who like change are wet babies."  Didja ever notice how much of your life God FORCES you to do...kinda like when he "constrained the disciples to get into the boat?!"
Can you picture this:  GET IN THE BOAT BECAUSE I SAID SO!!  Ouch! wink
Oof...I feel a new hub washing on to the shore of the Land of Bob!!

Some risks are necessary and life is full of them.  We have to take risks in this life so we can learn, what ever it may be.  WIthout taking them, what good would it be.

Using sensibility and not taking outrageous risks.

Happy people are ones who make goals and have something to look forward to. It's about cultivating hope and setting goals that are meaningful. The process of setting goals and working towards them contributes to happiness.
To take a risk to step into unknown, to search for a new life, to start a new job, to start a family...to take a risk is part of our life....
