Thank you for such thoughtfulness. You are so right, there is always much more to these things. I used to drink a glass or two of wine most nights, but having a baby changed all that. I am deeply grateful as I don't think I would have chosen it.

I do think that little by little can help. And the diet soda is one to consider. Aspartame, which is the sweetener is an irritant and got a friend of mine in some trouble!

Well, I can tell you there is no issue to worry about. As I commented above, I stopped drinking totally when I got pregnant and now might have a glass or two of wine every 2 weeks or so. Thank you for your time.
Sorry. I missed your comment. It just brings back how I thought in the past. Once every 2 weeks, soon, became once a week. Before long, it was back to every day, then some. But that's me and the nature of the problem.
