What Are Some Vitamin Or Minerals Or Natural Medicines That Can Help Reduce The Symptoms Of Parkinson's Disease?
Fish oil is great for neurological issues like Alzheimers and Parkinsons.
Parkinson's disease is a disease that effects the nervous system, and a lack of dopamine. Whether from genetics, or damage to the receptors in the brain, researchers don't know why. Michael J. Fox is probably the most famous of all cases in recent history. I am an admirer of his courage, and determination. I grew up watching family ties, and of all of the "back to the future" movies.
Among the most helpful supplements and minerals include calcium, and magnesium. Both elements are calming to the nervous system, and repairing. Use an absorbable calcium, such as calcium citrate.
Leva dopa is usually prescribed for this condition. To supply dopamine.
Among the supplements that produce, and support dopamine production include B complex, specifically B6, and l-tysrosine, an amino acid found in proteins. As well as the omega 3 fatty acids. They help with brain function, and aide neuro transmition of brain chemicals, including dopamine.
If you take Leva dopa, or any other Parkin's medication, do not take these supplements, as they will interfere with the effectiveness of the drug.
Many believe that Parkinson's is caused by heavy metals, and toxins, that collect in the brain, much like Alzheimer's. Chelation therapy to remove heavy metals are practiced in many clinical settings, and may be a therapy to consider.
Among the supplements that bind, and remove heavy metals include, cilantro, curcumin, and apple pectin. Thereby reducing the symptoms, if this is the cause.
As well as a diet high in fruits, and vegetables that contain high amounts of anti oxidants, has proven to be very beneficial.
