Addressing why you have low energy should be the first step.
Common Reasons: diet, poor sleep, stress, vitamin deficiency, hormonal imbalances.
Most people experience it from over using caffeine &/or poor diet. Cutting highly processed food should make a difference. Adding wheat germ to your diet will supply a good source of vitamins and minerals.  As far as vitamins goes, stick to whole food supplements. Vitamin C is a good one to take BUT you have to take it 3 weeks on 2 weeks off so your body does not become accustom to taking it. I stick to only taking it when I feel a cold coming on.Maca root supplements or powder may work for you. I wrote a hub with information about it. http://ii3rittles.hubpages.com/hub/Maca … Do-For-YOU Also, light exercise and regular fresh air will help as well. Getting a nice amount of vitamin D from the sun will help balance your sleeping & energy levels. Aim for at least 3 hours a week in the warmer months. Some people experience fatigue because they are not sleeping well. This is very common among people who have back/neck pain. If you think this could be a problem, invest in good quality bedding and a spring-less mattress as well as a neck pillow to support your neck and properly align your spine. It may even be beneficial to not use a pillow at all. Remember not to stress over it. Don't fight your body. If you feel tired enough, take an hour nap each day.

I have had great success with the following Nutilite products:
    (1) Rhodiola 110 which contains rhodiola root, Vitamin C, spinach, acerola, and green tea extract.
    (2) endurance cubes; provide quick energy and endurance boost.
    (3) Energy bars (chocolate nut/caramel bars taste like a regular chocolate bar).
    (4) ROC2O isotonic drink mix.
    (5) My favorite XS Energy drinks; no sugar and 8-16 calories/can...
    (6) Last but not least, for my "ratchity and creaking" older bone mass: glucosamine -7 tablets. I have found this indirectly affects me positively in terms of energy by keeping my bones feeling good...
You can order these items (if you so desire) online from: www.nusoleil.biz

I assume there are no underlying medical issues to contend with. Assuming a person is healthy, I recommend my all-time favorite foods that help bring back my energy level - kale coupled with a protein product.

For breakfast, I chop up a bowl of kale. I fry a couple of eggs. Then I add the eggs to the kale and chop up the eggs into the kale. I put salt and pepper to taste, a sprinkle of soy sauce, and a little chile pepper and mix it up. It is quick to make, delicious, satisfying, and helps keep me alert.

First of all, you must analyse, why you are feeling tired or fatigued. If you had a hectic work schedule, you might feel tired. If you missed sleep due to jet lag or being overly busy, you are bound to feel tired. If you are on a crash diet, then also, you might feel, low energy level.
But this will be alright, once you take lot of fluids, like lemon water, fruits or fruit juices, chicken soup etc. Dry fruits such as dates, raisins also provide instant energy.Dark chocolates or hot chocolate is also good for boosting energy levels.
If this does not help, one should get medical advice and get the required blood tests  done to rule out thyroid problems, low haemoglobin levels or any other problems. For this medicines or supplements will have to be taken as advised by the doctor.
It is very important to be physically active as well. Go for a walk in a garden or do simple yoga at home.

Much like the windmill, which cannot function without wind, our bodies cannot function without feul.
Among the many reasons for fatigue include dehydration. Water supplies fluid to the muscles, without it fatgue, weakness, and muscle cramps are the result.
A proper intake of complex carbohydrates, protein, and essential fatty acids. All of which are utilized for energy. The necessary co factor of B complex must also be present.
Other causes include low thyroid function, unbalanced hormones, and insulin. As anyone who has experienced a high or low can tell you, it leaves you drained.
An underlying infection from fungus, yeast, candidiasis, as well as viral. CFS, and fibromyalgia have both been linked to many pathogens. Among them are Lymes disease, epstein barr, cytomegalovirus, as well as herpes virus VI. The immune system has fought the infection for so long, that it just finnally gives up. Or it becomes so confused that it attacks itself, such is the case with MS.
An ongoing high stress level, will result in adrenal exhaustion, and deplete glutothione levels as well.
By giving the body what it needs, treating any nutrient defiency, and underlying physical, or pathogen cause, in a holistic approach, will bring about a solution.

Eating too much sugar makes me feel very tired. When I was suffering with bad fatigue I found I had very low B12.
